One way to reach students of multiple levels (maturity, spirituality, etc) is teaching by the Spirit and you do a great job at this. Thank you for your authenticity and genuineness. Music definitely conveys the Spirit and singing the song of redeeming love is something that gets the Gospel down into the heart of every truth-seeker. Elder Uchtdorf's talk about "not dying with the music still in you" communicates this message about conversion and commitment to me in ways that nothing else does. Thank you again for sharing your talents!
As far as the crooked paths. I always thought that meant whatever path we are cutting for ourselves (with our agency) will determine if the Lord can follow us on our path. If we’re making a crooked path, He can’t come with us. It’s not that we affect his agency. It’s that, what we do with our agency, determines whether He can join us in our lives or not.
What was the name of the speaker @15:34 time stamp? I can not find a Club Megad? 😅, thank you. I am so greatful for your time, effort, and knowledge. You bring it every week 🙌🏻 !
Ha! I bet the captions are a mess with that one. It's Elder Klebingat. He gave a phenomenal talk in 2016 called "Approaching the Throne of God with Confidence." Here's the link www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2014/10/approaching-the-throne-of-god-with-confidence?lang=eng
You cannot change yourself; Christ does it. We must realize that the only way we can have a mighty change is to invite Christ into our lives to change our hearts and make us a new creature through the baptism of fire and the holy ghost (2 Nephi 31:17). That is also how we receive a remission of our sins. Most of the talks in general conference these days make it sound like we just need to try harder, and we can have a mighty change - that is not true. We are nothing; we cannot earn anything except to go to hell (Mosiah 2:20,21). Only by seeking for Christ to come and change us will we become new creatures. At least that is what the I believe scriptures teach.
The truth you taught about Golden Roads and Pearly Gates brought tears to my eyes because of its profound beauty. Thank you!

I do like your lessons. The teaching style you have is "easy" to listen to!
That's so kind of you to say. Thanks, Eric. And thanks for letting me know about the sound issue so quickly!
