Preciate the insight Trent, I’ll be starting my first sales job in the coming weeks and your content gives me the confidence that I’ll hit the ground running🙏🏽
When you say, "The reason I'm calling you is..." works so well, is because it focuses the listeners attention. I would also emphasize the the word, You. Good video.
Trent, that cold call script play was informative. A closer look at the Mystrika platform might truly enhance your presentations. Their warmup pool is one of the best, takes cold email campaign to the next level.
Would you advise getting post secondary education before getting into sales? I hate school but I just heard you mention your college experience in another video
Hey Trent, thank you for your great video! I really enjoyed it. The only thing is that I noticed we can't access your scripts because the link you attached is expired. Is there another way I can get the script? I'm just starting out, and it would help me a ton.
@trentdressel you are straight forward with the gate keppers or prospects. But what do you think about sales experts like Jeremy Miner. As a beginner I am confused which "drug" I should choose 😆
Yeah, there's the Benjamin Dennehy or Art Sobzac (author of Smart Calling). I feel like we should pick one, do like 500-1000 calls and then try a new if it's not working
I'll put it down to having to talk slow for the software to register your words, but mirroring is such a big piece. To a fast talking Sales VP, you gotta up and match their talk speed. Droning on slowly will just piss them off
Dang, Trent that was a hot role play on cold calls. But should not we take it up a notch with a cold email tool like Mystrika? It is like rocket fuel for your outbound lead gen. Bet it would amp your sales game!
Really enjoyed your Cold Call Script play, Trent! It is impressive. But can we talk about Mystrika? Cold email feels incomplete without it - plus, their interface is super solid. Time to step up the game, do not you think?
Hi Trent, I know you're an extremely busy sales professional. I know you're in the Austin/Dallas and I am in the Houston. I was wondering if there was a way for us to jump on a quick call sometime? I was hoping to get some advice on breaking into tech sales.
Great video but my concern is that your initial intro sounds just like ever other sales person making cold calls. I find it immediately brings up a barrier. Perhaps sounding alittle confused and asking if they could help you, might open the door to go through the rest of your pitch and ask the right questions.
Love this video! Trent i have been watching your videos for a while especially before going for work, would love to know how you prepare yourself before a call,
For some REASON people don't like to use opening line, "how are you?", it works every time for me
I never ask how people are....I also don't need it asked of me....but whatever works.
It’s the most annoying cold call start up of all time. “Thanks for interrupting my day. Are you doing a survey? How can I help you?”
