    I have never understood why anyone would ever ask a closed question on a cold call opener. "Do you have a minute etc etc?" The answer you will get is "No" The end. As soon as you give them a chance to say no, they will. Gabrielle hands down the best approach on this video.

    Hey guys, love these intros, especially the 'old skool' acknowledgement of interruption and request to talk. Always the best way to go. And yes! Cheeky and fun all the way! And Belal... I know quite a few people called Belal / Bilal, and I know the historical important of that name too ;)

    I use the "Can I take just 30 seconds of your time"? approach. And I stick to 30 seconds. However, most of the time it goes longer because the prospect has questions. If not, I just move on. As Sandler says "Some do, some don't; some will, some won't. Who's next?"

      @@itslavenderduh If you don't even know how to put up with criticism, you won't even be doing a good job as a cold caller. Yes, they need to make a sale but understand that part of doing cold calling is also putting up with people's criticism. If you claim comments are stupid and you view comments as too negative, you won't even last a second in a cold calling business. You will end up finding that job boring. Many cold callers think they can keep calling back angry customers and ended up finding themselves not being able to fix the problem. Cracking under pressure is what will make you fail as a cold caller. If you know you are a cold caller, you aren't even in position to correct people's behaviors because if you do that, that customer have a right to cut you out of your life. Got to understand that many cold callers job is to impress and at the same time, many cold callers aren't even good at that kind of job. I can challenge any cold callers to bring value and all they will do is make promises they can't even keep. If any of the cold callers crack under pressure, that would already give me a chance to tell them to go away. So if you show signs of weakness way too early, you as a cold caller would already get rejected. Chances are, many cold callers would pick the route of taking a challenge they suck at and then they will never learn to detach after they fail. If you can't even put up with negative comments, you are not fit to do cold calling. Why do you think it is called cold calling? It means you call them and you are not expected to be appreciated.

    • @hp2546
      @hp2546 2 месяца назад

      I even had cold callers who complained about the background noise when in reality it is them that couldn't handle it. So part of doing cold calling is also never ask for any convenience. Even if you are at a disadvantage, you can't beg anyone to make it easier because you would be the one initiating and you would be the one who originally bothered them. Once you initiate, you have to make it count. You cannot beg for time extension and you cannot hide behind your coworkers and you can't just transfer to run away from your job. Many cold callers do these things.

    • @hp2546
      @hp2546 2 месяца назад

      @@itslavenderduh If you cannot even handle critism, you can't handle cold calling. If you respond like this as a cold caller, you won't survive a day in that kind of job. Why do you think it is called cold calling? You aren't expected to be appreciated. You will hear negative comments from them. If you claim their negative comments is stupid, then it is clear sign cold calling job is not for you. If you give in to entitlement, you are making your own image worst. Got to understand that customer do not depend on cold callers. If you initiate, it is your job to impress them and normally in this job, many cold callers initiate a call only to freeze up in fear. Some don't even say anything once a customer say hello. If you spend too much time thinking, you forfeit your call. Cold callers do not get to defend their busy schedule because they already initiated a call. If you are a cold caller, you are in a position where you need clients but clients don't need you. They may say negative things about your job as a cold caller but you are also not in position to talk back. This video is only meant to give you strategies but what this video does not tell you is you have to put up with toxic behavior and you cannot argue back.
