Some might know the song from the impressive opening scene of the 1979 movie "Apocalypse Now.” Its powerful message is very relevant and resonates in the face of current events. Listen closely to the music and the words, pay attention to the visuals and you will know what I mean.
No doubt this is one of the most amazing songs ever written and probably uncover-able, but I chose to do it anyway, because I love creative challenges and great songs with deep, universal meaning. I hope the music video resonates with you.

Ein großartiger Song von 1967, perfekt inzeniert in Coppolas Film von 1979 und nun perfekt und absolut großartig präsentiert von Maria in 2024 - die Jahre ziehen vorbei und die Relevanz dieser Musik bleibt aktuell. Ist das als Kommentar zum Zeitgeschehen gemeint? Wenn dem so ist, dann passt es mehr als jeder andere Song jemals besser hätte passen können (vielleicht noch Soundgardens "Black Hole Sun" oder "Fear" von John Cale, auch Einiges von Joy Division), my congrats to you and your team!
