Art Texture Samples - Wax Paper

This is a Video Series about making Art texture samples to be used in mixed media textured canvas art and other art projects. In this video I'll be making texture from Glue and Wax Paper.
This video series was created because I've used these textures for years and wanted to make them for future reference. I will be creating more textured art in the future and will be using these textures frequently. It will be easier to link to these videos when I use the specific texture in a project.

It is called a brayer and you can find them at Michaels or any arts and crafts stores. I bought mine at Curry's Art store(it's a Canadian company.)

I have used foil as well. Just prime it with gesso or another primer before you paint it so the paint sticks to it better. Have a great day.

where u get the wax paper..anothers thing can use like plastic or tissue?

+ayu adi you can use plastic wrap after you have put paint down and scrunch up the plastic wrap then remove before it dries and that leaves a design in the paint, you can use tissue like the wax paper and leave it on and paint over it.
