The perimeter of the square is 4 cm * 4 (4 cm +4 cm +4 cm +4 cm)= 16 cm. Its area is 4 cm * 4 cm = 16 cm². But that does not mean that the perimeter of a square is always equal to its area. The perimeter of the rectangle is 2(10 cm + 4 cm) = 20 cm + 8 cm =28 cm. We can also say 10 cm + 4 cm + 10 cm + 4 cm = 28 cm. Its area is 10 cm * 4 cm = 40 cm².
I have a question about perimeter of rectangle in area is square the answer
Hi There, so for the area of a rectangle you have to multiply height by width. So for this rectangle it would be 4cm by 10cm which is 40cm.
Yoh I am writing the test tomorrow and I am studying now fingers crossed 😮😮
Good luck! 🤞
