If you know the perimeter, and assume that it is surrounding a square, can you divide it by 4 to get the sides and then square the sides to get the area?

If we apply first way of computing in second shape shown there are only 13 full and 5 patial makes it to only 15.5 sq cm where as pics formulae give altogether different answer... Pls clarify

It is impossible to find exact area of rregular shape. But you can get really close to the exact area by using calculus. I will upload videos on that in future.
