✅ Please keep in mind, when it comes to rectangles, you can also use the formula base x height instead of length x width (base x height is mentioned in the triangles section). Don’t let these formulas confuse you, they are both correct and will give you the correct area of a rectangle (they are the same thing, just different wording). Use whatever works best for you!

5(10+9) = 95 I can't write straightly at all. So I factor or FOIL ALL THE TIME.
It's so much more fun to do math this way, when multiplying numbers from
the head. 50 + 49 = 95. Although, I always use paper, but I can do it in my head
with pencil and paper a lot faster than having to do it column by column.
I write very crooked and its even hard for me to do math, when I cannot write
straight lines right at all.. So FOIL or factoring is all I have for my best weapon
of cheating the crooked handwriting style I cannot seem to avoid. lol
