What's your guys thoughts so far on the re-release of MultiVersus? There's a lot I wanted to cover here that I would like to discuss in the comments and such, so feel free to leave your thoughts down below. Thanks for watching :)
Its honestly very mid, Feels worst than the beta. Very clunky and slow movement. Dodging is clunky as well. Two new characters after 2 years is absurd. Jason is cool but id rather Ben 10, Mordecai and Rigby, Harry Potter etc. The Camera sucks and too close. The UI is confusing and too much. The old one was so much better. Bots are filling matches. This is sad tbh. I wanna like the game but i can't use Harley and Jake the same, esp Jake.

@@Moogle Explain? Instead of immediately going to a dismissive attitude, please explain to me how this UI isn’t cluttered with meaningless information. In order to select a character and change their build, you have to do it individually for all of them. In the beta, they were all shared amongst all of the characters.
Finding your profile banners and changing them was a hassle. Shifting through all of that is just baffling. And if you’re on controller, it’s worse. Let’s debate please, because so far most users HATE what the devs have done. Yet…you haven’t exactly done a very good job at your defense but
“Oh it’s hard lmao ok.” 😑 it’s like people like you thrive off being a nuisance than having a legitimate conversation. You’re definitely the type to say “skill issue” to a legitimate concern to a game that can harm it, and even the devs would agree, but you’d still stubbornly tell people to just get better against an exploit.
@@ThePilleroflightning is has not been 2 years bro 😭😭 it hasnt even been a year since the beta closed, unless your refering to the start of the beta, which was just about 2 years ago
@@ThePilleroflightning what exactly do people hate? The only complaints I’ve seen are server issues. And The Ui is very good. All you bitched about was the perks which have really nothing to do with the Ui, i didnt see you complain about anything else other than the fighters tab where you have to pick your skins and perks lmao🤦🏻♂️. what they did was allow you to make presets for all your fighters, which is MUCH BETTER than having to change up your perks every single match you play a different fighter. The only thing i can say that is a really bad idea was them removing all the variety of perks. However i think they will bring back all those perks. As someone who played in the beta, this ui is definitely much more organized then the one in the beta.

I want it back to regular speed , i want the air dodges like before and i hate the camera close up and characters sizes
I feel you. These are all things that can improve tho at the end of the day. I wanna stick around until i'm proved wrong

Speed was too much the close camera is badass asf u can actually see the character and see details not just small ass characters u can barley see that move stupid fast it was garbage
@@mr.bannana9048 no bro the speed now feels sluggish compared, you'd know if you competed at the top levels or at least faced top players in your matches. No way slower is better. It objectively lowers the skill ceiling. Boo.
I remember your Finn from beta! I respect your opinions. I feel like any kind of change is going to take time, especially when we've sunk thousands of hours into the beta. You can still cook, and exploiting meter is more interactive than the fly swatting dodge meta with dodge jump in the beta. Is it more fun to watch in 1.25x speed? Yeah.. walking speed can be faster. The camera situation i havent had any issues with in game yet, my eyes have adjusted lol. Should it be a client side setting? Yes agreed.

The game (at least from a beginner here) is actually really fun but there are definitely issues.
I don’t want the game to have faster gameplay otherwise for me it would be completely unplayable. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of SBMM so I’m getting stomped every game I play and if the game speeds up in combat I think it’s would to be overwhelming.
And I wish I could just try the characters before buying them. Controls feel random at times, I dash when I mean to do a neutral attack and some characters feel like they don’t have any special down attacks
Yeah the matchmaking is a little weird rn. I dont really know whos good and whos not. Also it can be daunting for new players. Best of luck on your journey as a beginner bro
Used to be able to try the characters in the beta. I don't know why they removed that, feels greedy.
Why does bgm music sound so familiar at the start of your video? Good video btw. I come from a 2d fighting game background so im not use to platform fighters but I'm comfortable with speed mainly becauae it gives me time to whiff punish and position correctly. I also wish the tutorial mode was more indepth like how it was on in the beta but that's just my piece on it.

Finally played it again and instanly uninstalled. I watched a recording of this one game where i was arya and the dude was a banana guard. I would dodge his attacks but could never hit him no matter how perfect i dodged. When i would hit i somehow would hit the air even tho he is RIGHT in front of me in sword length but his spear can reach me even without him looking at me. DUDE WOULD HIT ME WITHOUT EVEN FACING ME. I dropped the game so fast
Sounds like you might just have shitty wifi, play 1v1s if you havent, 2v2s are buggy rn
It's gotta be lag or the console or sumn brother. Banana guards hitboxes are so linear so I can't imagine they'd be hitting you so randomly. He's cheap, but mans just has a really simple kit like shaggy

Dude, I’m an Arya main :( making the game slower and more zoomed in was the worst possible thing to happen. She feels absolutely unplayable against every character in the roster except for mirror matches lol

Wayyyy too slow just tweak the speed a bit more doesn’t have to be as fast as beta, the input delay is horrendous, and the dash attack is constantly being misinput now when you wanna do a jab combo it’s pretty annoying. My combos are clunky and the timing is off cuz of these reasons.
For sure. There's some weird parts in the gameplay and with dash attack too, but remember its like that in smash too. If you're not careful you get dash attacks misinput in any game with them. Just will take some getting used to.
This game doesn’t have a regular walking and running speed like smash you can do a dash better when you fully turn the joy stick to any horizontal direction. If they had it like smash I wouldn’t complain I never misinput on there lol
If they had it where you had to fully go to one side with the joystick then I wouldn’t mind

@@georgehernandez2156 that argument doesn’t really work here. Yes it’s a free game, but you kinda need other people to play the game for the full experience. If we lose 99% of the players again the game will be deemed a failure and stop getting support from the devs. I love this game, I have very fond memories of hitting top 200 on Finn with my best friend. At this point, we just need to devs to listen to feedback and act fast, which is a little concerning because that’s what the early access was for.

Ui is weird. Why the red button for validation and blue button for cancel? Options and customisation are hidden away or are less intuitive. There are less options in the control settings. And why to access them I need to press "p" and leave the game and not escape and have them in the menue in game? It's slower and the camera is closer, so it's seems like everyone is on top of eachother, it's a cluster fuck of hit boxes. Where are my dashes on the ground? Why I don't throw the same move if I run a bit longer than 0.5 second on the right? Why is neutral and side reversed on some characters? I hope they can Cooke a bit more on the UI and control options
the game is worst , a lot of nerf , the dodges / stamina change is bad overall , all those perks in the trash i guess , we wait and see what the future will bring , and also 10 bucks if you want to buy a character :/
You dont have to spend money to buy a character… bunch of wankers complaining for nothing.
