Just like what it has been for the past months, there are only repatriation flights for vietnamese nationals living abroad, as for foreigners, only specialists can enter, all people who enter the country are quarantined for 14 days, no exceptions. No lockdown has been in place for many months as the virus situation has been under control for a while now but people, especially in the cities are encouraged, if not required, to wear masks when going out. Schools, business and public places are open as normal. Vietnam's locally made vaccine has entered its first stage of trials on human a few weeks ago. Concurrently, negotiations to acquire foreign-made vaccines particularly from the UK, Russia and the US are underway. We expect to receive our first batch of imported vaccines sometime around the end of Q1.

It’s so ridiculous. Motorbike riders ignored the road rules and ride on the sidewalk which belong to the pedestrian. Policemen make no attempt to stop them. Some go in the opposite direction on a one way road.
The Hochimin city is not a city of the Viet people. It is the city that has the most beautiful scenery and a very high quality of life. There are also a lot of places that are really similar. For example, in this video, there's really a really big difference between Hochimin city and Phanom Phen. Even though there migh
People in Vietnam park their scooters and sometimes even cars on the pavements all the time. Food vendors cafes, etc,...that operate on pavements are also ever-present. Convenient they might be, they are sometimes very annoying to pedestrians as they take the walking space. It's just so common that us locals have learned to live with for like, forever.
