Thank you Father Nathan. I always enjoy listening to you. May God bless you 🙏🏼 I have a daughter in Heaven. Keeping an open heart and looking for light and love at all times certainly helps on this excruciating journey.

I like what you say in your prayer, I will try, fall and get back up knowing we are imperfect and are developing and hopeful otherwise we can feel hopeless. My fondest wish is that Christ in His Divine wisdom and mercy will redeem us now or in the hereafter at the appropriate moment

My husband died 7 years ago, Oct 11th.
Between my Irish temper and my Catholic guilt there has been a lot of regrets.
Even when I'm walking my dogs I often wish I had invited him to walk the dogs with me, despite the fact that at the time I treasured that as my ME time - to get away from the kids (and him!) honestly.
The best gift he gave me was that as he was dying, his last words were, repeating I love you many times over.
I'm trying to focus on those words instead of all the words said either in anger or in ignorance.
Sometimes when walking the dogs on these beautiful fall days I focus on him just walking along with me.
Thanks so much for this episode and all of them! ❤

You're already doing what I'd recommend, Peg. Keep listening to his words of love and keep inviting him on your walks.
