I have to admit that the Catholic Church is one of the only, if not THE ONLY, Christian religion that doesn’t treat gifted mediums and psychics as “devils.” I see Fr Nathan, Mark Anthony, etc. as rare individuals who were given this gift to help those of us who need to know our beloved family, pets and friends are happy on the other side and will be waiting for us. I feel the same way about NDErs. I love, love hearing the experiences of NDErs. I certainly don’t want to die, but thanks to all these wonderful people I am not as afraid to die and am looking so forward to seeing my loved ones who have gone before me

Love Dr Greyson! I have watched many Dr Greyson videos, all of which are fascinating, but this is definitely one of the better ones. I think the overlap of Catholic spirituality, science and medicine are a perfect blend. There were some fascinating points discussed in this episode. I hope as soon as Katherine and her husband finish building the retreat center in the Azores, Fr Nathan can host a retreat and invite Drs. Greyson, Long, Moody and Alexander. Talk about an all-star line up! I will be the first one signed up for that retreat

It seems Byron Katie had a glimpse of the natural reality in which all "selves" are recognized as mental constructs and false identities. Then, she apparently tried to reverse engineer her experience so other people could unravel conditioned narratives and sense freedom. However, her self-inquiry reinforces this sense of "self" and keeps seekers in a futile loop of constantly questioning their thoughts so they actually remain imprisoned in their own "stories." It's like a dog chasing its own tail.

Never let anyone convince you that we are anything other than lovingly guided...gratutude is key methinks. I have bitten off way more than i could chew when i had molars. Nevertheless, though i have worn myself out masticating and listening sans curdling shame, thank you Byron, et al❤, still it refuses to go down. Something i cannot process sans assistance. And this is when i remember that we are all goin through it and ideas fly at me like trout and my hands are full of pretty heart shaped rocks and i almost panic until your kind sincerity guides me on to the next new thought. This is transcendent mojo...❤

I moved away from her awhile ago now because it seemed like self-gaslighting, and sometimes people need to be called out on their bad behavior. I'm an abuse survivor and did a lot of her work for awhile and just got shat on repeatedly. No disrespect, but doesn't work for me.

Can’t wait for the retreat center to open and for Fr Nathan to host an event! Sounds like a perfect excuse to get to the Azores. And I live idea of planning your “welcome home” party in heaven. I have someone started planning mine. I want my father, grandmother and all my companion animals to be the first to greet me. If my husband goes before me, I want him there too

Father, for 'meandering' you certainly bring things together so well - a multi-faceted prism of Understanding, Wisdom and Compassion. Most Grateful for your 'defining Truth' - so important in our culture today that does indeed reduce reality to opinions and 'my truths'. Christ Jesus declared: "I AM The Way, The Truth and The Life" and so it is. You referred to HOPE as well, which reminded me of something a priest once said that stayed with me--since it resonated so well...--that is, 'if one loses Hope, it is difficult to Love. With Faith, Hope and Love being the 'cardinal virtues', Faith can stand alone, but Love is very much hinged to Hope, without Hope Love is strained or crushed altogether. Thank you for your continued Prayers and Blessings!

Yes, I don't think people choose to use, or choose the substance. What a wonderful hope: we keep learning and growing after death.

Thank you so much Fr. Nathan. This was a very beautiful session and I don’t think you jumped around too much. I have family members who died of alcohol addiction and some alive still caught in this pattern. It is so hopeful to think of them having a chance to continue to heal from those wounds in the afterlife. And hopeful for ourselves as I don’t think we ever get it all “done” here. 🙏💕🙏
