actually the jedi will be trained as shown in the teasers, poe clearly has some experience with firing a blaster at enemies, and that random guy is a trained resistance trooper.
And the stormtroopers have been trained since they were like 1 year old.

I got this as a Christmas present back in 2017. Sure it's not hugely playable, it's from my most hated Star Wars film, but it's at least from the best scene in a terrible film, one of my favorite Star Wars builds, and it gets a lot of positive comments on display & I therefore really love it. Compare to the Resistance Heavy Bomber, which is way more playable and a similar size, but a bit of a boring build and nobody ever takes any notice of it unless they are a Star Wars nerd, and then they usually say how much they hate that scene in the film - which yeah, so do I.

Yeah, and this will happen inside a giant subterranean city with a white guy as the manager. TFA was nice and all, but I guess they're playing way too safe with the plots, basically just recycling the first trilogy.
I mean, look at the trailer. Ships that skim the ground heading for giant four-legged walkers on a barren planet. Now where have I seen that before?

I feel like for the size and price of the set, they could've designed it to fit a few more stormtroopers. It's disappointing, especially when you consider the first AT-AT set that came out in 2003 (4483-1), had space for 4 troopers and a rack for a speeder bike!

The entirety of the first order: Well.....yes but actually no
if You want the in-universe answer then it's more of a siege weapon than transport, it can only carry ~12 troops (compared to at-at's 40) despite it being much bigger than at-at, but that extra space is used to house an additional reactor that fuels the megacaliber 6 turbolaser, a very rare instance of ground vehicles using in-atmosphere turbolaser. Said to be powerful enough to punch through planetary shields, but that doesn't actually matter, no usual ground vehicles can take a shot from a turbolaser.
Aside of that it still carries 2 medium laser cannons to attack fast vehicles and 2 heavy laser cannons to destroy infantry holdouts like a regular at-at did.
The stuff on the back isn't bombs, it's fuel reserves for that turbolaser, probably tibanna gas, probably in a state that doesn't make it explode when the walker takes damage to the canisters.
It's front legs look like this to better deal with the massive recoil shooting the turbolaser makes.
Still, if we try to think if that walker is a good design in-universe: no. It doesn't make sense for First Order to use a full frontal assault walker if they, as a much smaller faction than Empire was, can't always assume air superiority. In any regular battle scenario any aerial opponent with better weapons than an airspeeder would be a major threat to that walker. Or if it was used in a heavy terrain where it can be easily flanked by the infantry.
Overall I like that design and it's purpose but it makes little sense, so 6/10. Lego set is fine I guess despite being pricey, 6+/10
No there is one other innovation… Black paint. Its also way more front heavy it’s head is bigger it’s back is humped and all they did to make it slightly harder to trip (the main flaw of the ATAT) was make the front feet extend BACKWARDS aside from the fact that it will only ever fall forwards.
@@miqvPLit’s a AT-AT but they leaned into its assault strength abandoned a very important secondary function making it more expensive easier to trip and worse at dealing with infantry.

Got this for Christmas, and I’m very happy with it. I think I’m gonna start buying more and more First Order battle packs as well as The Resistance battle packs.
Where do you get these?
The 2 side door can fit a stormtrooper on each side and be change to a control panel for those needed more trooper space. Max I can put in is about 7 figs including driver
I think this set is my favorite LEGO Star Wars set.
The at at (or at m6) pilot is using a death trooper mold, re coulered.

Its kinda a cool set, I dont really like how it looks but its got tones of play ability features which is nice.
The At-at 75054 looks way better even if it has less play ability features, I'm glad I managed to pick one up before they started getting so expensive.
So those bomb things on the back are actually like a fuel canister thing for the mega caliber 6 canon

If your gunna spend $150 buy something else, heck if you've got that much money on hand buy the UCS slave 1 for $200, it's a really good deal and amazing set. Also that set will go up in price if you keep all the stickers, box, instructions, and pieces complete.

I think the helmet for the pilot is the flame trooper mold because I have the flame trooper in my hand and they look exactly the same.
For a vehicle of this size, I really would have expected an actual team of Stormtroopers. 4 ST minifigs for this walker seems appropriate.

Biggest downside to me is its too small. Even if in scale with the ATAT set of the time...its still undersized.
I guess they were tryin to keep it affordable, but when u start downsizing large vehicles like this the compromises start to stack up
The back is probably shells for the cannon, and the belt is probably a loading system for the gun.

I have come from the future and the drums on the back are fuel for the turbo laser and could potentially be the best way to destroy one of the AT-M6 beasts.

The official Star Wars RUclips channel just revealed that the actual name of it is "AT-M6" All terrain MegaCaliber 6. The giant gun on it's back is a MegaCaliber 6 gun, the front arms are built to support the recoil it would cause, think of it as a mobile artillery unit.

The At-M6 pilot has the exact same model as the tie pilots. The difference being the color and some goggle like item taken off. They did the same as the original where the tie pilots and the Walker pilots would have the same suit just different color.
