Thank you for sharing your journey! It’s really inspiring for someone (me) who’s navigating all hurdles to break into UX research as a new grad.

Great information! It seems like a Bachelors or a Masters in a related field is needed as the foundation and a UX bootcamp alone is kinda useless lol every company is looking for a background in hci, cog sci, or in your case marketing. Would love to hear you're perspective. Thanks for sharing!

No, they're not necessary. I ditched college and I'm a researcher.

Hello! I’m currently studying English Literature in Turkey and I’m scared that I’ll pay for training and classes in uxr but no good company will hire me because of how unrelated my major is. I am a student so my financial situation is very limited atm. Do you think I should search for something else? Would it be safe to allocate time and resources into this?

Hello fellow non PhD researcher...in fact, I got into research in 2019 with zero college.
My background is in music and photography actually lol.

    Hi
    Your videos are wonderful.
I want to apply for a UX researcher job at one of the most known banks in my country.
I am thinking to make a case study tailored for they products and make a research plan.
    How would you approach it?

Hello good morning ❣️, I'm a fresh graduate and I am new to the Ux world, I'm currently taking courses on Coursera as bootcamps are too expensive for me for now.. Are there any tips that could help? Anything would be appreciated

Hello! It's great that you are taking classes on Coursera. Are you looking into UXD or UXR path? If you want to learn more about UXR, I recommend Interaction Design Foundation. Also, I read lots of books that helped me build foundational knowledge. Some books to start: it's our Research, Think Like a UX Researcher. I highly recommend joining UX communities like Research Ops, Techfleet (you can find high-quality UX projects there to build your portfolio), Ethnography, and Mixed Methods.
