I like to watch her videos to inform myself with UX design because I feel like she delivers her content in a concise and simple manner, also I like how her voice is neutral and in a speed which allows you to absorb what she is saying. As a non native she does it for me.

when you said i am also an introvert, you have no idea how much confidence that gave me. i am always scared of that,

I am not a fan of videos as they consume more time than reading but Maureen does a great job when you don't want to speed ahead. Very pleasant yet neutral voice, manners, everything is explained without "water" - very informative and clear. Thank you.

One of the more important points wasn't stated until around 1:11 - the difference between users that are being interviewed. Ensuring you get the right users to interview, and asking the appropriate questions to those users based on personality types. However, your quiet, non-talkative users, if you ask the right question, or find the right "pain point", will provide incredible insight. I really appreciated this video. It provided a lot of help in how I could better direct my interviews, my behavior during interviews, and better drive the topics of conversation. Thanks.

This video gave me confidence for my first user interview. I was a bit nervous to conduct my first user interview. This video gave me more points for me to what to and what not to. Thanks much Maureen.. :)

Just not clear with difference between research goals & research questions, apart from the point that one is statement & another one a question.

Maureen's mentioned we should slow down during the interview. However, I'm wondering if UX researchers should adjust their speaking pace to the interviewees.

The interview was great in some aspects but I noticed that you asked some leading questions which should not be the case. They could have been presented as open question. For example you said, "you mentioned earlier about time saving and convenience is that important to you ?" This is YES, NO question. I feel you could have said,"earlier you mentioned about time saving and convenience, tell me more about it ? How it works ? Why it matters ?. Anyway great insights from the entire webinar and thank you!

As she mentioned in her note to the audience bit, understanding the mindset with which the user approaches the product with is important. With that, she's trying to understand if the assumption about Callum using dating apps that are convenient to him is true or not. She clearly digs deeper into that with her follow up questions. As this is not a key question, she's setting up a precedent of her next few questions with that yes/no question. There is no hard set rule that leading questions should not be used. I hope that answered your question.
