Thank you for sharing this marvellous recreation. I agree with everything everyone here says about the quality of the mock up, the sound and the video editing. And I’m hugely impressed (and inspired) by the colour scheme you chose for your tracks. Stunning and practical. Bravo, Maestro.
Thank you so much Brian for the kind words! I noticed this particular color scheme in some of Spitfire Audio's videos and it somehow made sense to me so I stuck with that
Fantastic! That was wonderful! I am a BBCSO user, too, and will enjoy studying your tremendous efforts. The way that you edited the video is superb and contains a ton of information for other composers with BBCSO. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with the world!

Very nice, But what’s with the background noise? Is that something they add to make you buy the full version? Oh - I see from the info it’s a vintage sound plugin. Ok.
Did you do this entirely on cubase or did you use things like dorico to first write down the dynamics and tempo changes and stuff like that? Lovely mockup by the way :)
This was done entirely on cubase, tempo changes and dynamics have been done following a live performance by the danish national orchestra and I followed the original score to play the notes in
Absolutely love it. BBC SO sounds rich and warm. I also really like the iZtope plugin, made it sound similar to the 12" vinyl I had back in the 80s :) Trying to teach myself using logic and EW Hollywood Orchestra. I know it's really cheeky of me to ask, but please would you share the midi file again? :)
Hi Louis! I'm really glad you liked it, the BBCSO is particularly suited for this genre and I'm also very happy that this reminded you of your vinyl recording. I've never used EW Hollywood Orchestra myself but I've heard some pretty good stuff. Of course you can have the MIDI files, the only reason I don't share them permanently is that I haven't found a way to do that yet. Here is the link: we.tl/t-plWrtOB8Ds
Great musicianship with really tasteful video editing...it made the whole experience so engaging thank you. :-) P.S. are you still able to share the midi file? as I am still learning and anything to assist in how you have chosen your instruments would be amazing.
Thank you so much Dave, much appreciated! Here are the MIDI files: mega.nz/folder/tq5mVYZT#gGKADg1pUN12xgV52EITCQ. I chose my instrumentation according to the actual score by John Williams (ruclips.net/video/_3AiYIxBwD0/видео.html), minute 13:12). If you liked the editing of this video you may also like the youtube channel of Spitfire Audio since they post a lot of original compositions with this type of aesthetics (from which this video is heavily inspired).
Hey, I use OBS studio to record the screen and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the footage (I apply the basic 3D tool to the section of the video I want to edit, then I tweak the perspective parameters and animate everything by setting keyframes)
Tank you for your comment and advice! The track may feel slow since the tempo was adapted form a live performance by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra (ruclips.net/video/geelCnhlEuA/видео.html) which is a significantly slower and more patient rendition of the piece compared to the original Star Wars recording. However, I should have probably gone for a faster interpretation since virtual instruments certainly struggle to deliver the same emotional interest that you can get with real players at slower tempo.
Many thanks Aaron! I used OBS to record the screen and Premiere to edit the footage (basic key-frame animation on the perspective parameters of the "basic 3D" effect).
Thank you! I screen recorded each part separately with OBS and edited it in premiere. It’s actually pretty easy, you just need to use one effect (it’s called “basic 3D” I believe) and then set keyframes for different rotation and perspective parameters
Hey Peter, I used the original sheet music since I did this mockup as a score study (you can find the score here at 13:12 ruclips.net/video/_3AiYIxBwD0/видео.html) and I used the performance by the Danish national orchestra as a reference for the tempo track (m.ruclips.net/video/geelCnhlEuA/видео.html) speeding it up in some sections as virtual instruments have a hard time phrasing at a slow tempo. Hope this was useful
definitely the most impressive demo of the library.
Well, thank you very much Luigi! this is one big compliment for sure

Hi is there a cubase file available for this masterpiece?
great cinematography :), a pleasure to watch as well as listen JWs wonderful music

Yea this video was the reason I got the BBCSO core. The Horn is so perfect for this piece.

Nice job. The clearest resemblance I hear begins at 1:09. A simple suggestion for improvement is to turn up the tempo a notch.

I recommend an additional reverb for more spatialization
