alright, honest opinion time: i don't mean to sound discouraging as this song is special in its own right, but i feel like it doesn't 100% meet the quality standard of smg/smg2. Don't get me wrong, it sounds amazing, and i think its an incredible piece of music, but something just feels... off comparatively? its almost as if its grand but not grand enough... it feels like it has some of it but is missing a fraction of that "mario magic". im not a musician, so i can't identify the problem myself, but maybe you can...? idk, i just hope the credits theme for this mod is at least slightly below par compared to smg2's creadits theme (which i know is a high bar to reach, but its not impossible) regardless, keep up the good work, even if its not all the way there, this is more than good enough for the mod. i wish you luck!

I'm very late to the party. This is an incredible piece of work, hard to believe this is BBC SO Core. Can I ask a quick technical question? It is interesting to see in the Cubase file that you have boosted many of the VI instruments to 200% (or above 100% anyway). Do you do this as a matter if course, or is that specific to this piece?

The inelasticity of the tempo is a bit of a give away to how this was done, and the orchestral balance is unnatural at times (a conductor would have worked that out). Otherwise, the sounds are surprisingly good.

Hello, this is fantastic work. Congratulations! I too am doing mock ups with BBC SO CORE and have just done Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers. I am using Studio One and I'm wondering if Cubase might be better. Could you possibly let me have me your midi files for Swan Like and i will run some tests and let you know my conclusions. Yea this video was the reason I got the BBCSO core. The Horn is so perfect for this piece.
