Molina is a hothead...way too emotional sometimes. He gets mad about balls and strikes (justifiably so usually), he also got mad when Crawford threw him out at first in this video, which had nothing to do with respect.

Yadier Molina loves the St. Louis Cardinals so much. It would not shock me when he retires he would come back as a coach or manager of the St. Louis Cardinals. I do not know if the great Bobby Cox could keep that record of being thrown out of a game then 😆. Much love to Yadier Molina. A true, loyal and amazing catcher. From a Braves fan.

How many pitchers owe their careers or not being an average pitcher but being a clutch pitcher is because of Yadi. Yeah, I'll take Yadi over everyone except maybe Bench. Maybe.

The Brandon Phillips thing at 5:19- this doesn’t show what Molina took exception to. Right before this clip starts, Phillips did the “tapping the catcher pads with the bat” thing as if he never said that stuff attacking the Cardinals to the media. Yadier just kicked his bat away and Phillips, like a dope, just kinda did it again like everything was ok and then conveniently stepped out of the box. When the clip starts, he stepped back in finally and that’s when Molina was telling him “you don’t have to like my team but don’t act like we’re friends” and Phillips was just flapping his jaws back at him - Phillips knew he was wrong, he was just posturing Bc Molina wouldn’t accept his BS with the bat-tap stuff. Nor SHOULD he have. Phillips’ stupid actions led directly to career-ending injuries in that brawl. Phillips is a punk. Molina was just telling him how it is.

Kenny Jaworski Lmao chooses this one, ignores how Molina quite literally assaults umpires. Legitimately the umpires deserve it, but you can’t just nitpick that shit

4:35 Well yeah, somebody needed to get in that moronic ump's face for that. That wasn't even close to the strike zone.

Gotta love Yadi. After all these yrs he still LOVES the game, and plays with the passion & glee of a 10 yr old.
You can love him or hate him, just don't disrespect him or his. (or TRY to steal on him 😜 !!)
In StL, we're gonna buckle up & enjoy this, his final year. There'll never be another one like him...

The reason why he gets a decent amount of stolen bases as a catcher is not bc he’s fast it’s bc he’s smart

In that first clip, the shortstop literally dove several feet into the outfield to snag the ball, looked up, took a few seconds to make up his mind to throw the ball or not, then throws from his knees, and still gets Molina out on first lol.

Benito Santiago, Javy Lopez, Jorge Posada, Bengie Molina, Jose Molina, Pudge Rodriguez, and Yadier Molina… Man, Puerto Rico just has a way to develop catchers! If Latino America was ever allowed to do a game or tournament of us against North America and other regions of the world, I want a Puerto Rican catcher! And I say this as a Dominican, and die hard fan of our own players.

yourmandom direct quote from Tim Tibbons (home plate umpire that game) (“Lovullo) made a comment that was aggressive that Yadi overheard so that’s why Yadi reacted the way that he did. I think at that point Yadi became agitated, which was understandable. So when I turned around, he didn’t maybe push me as much as I tried to get in between them. I think it was a natural reaction.”
