Nvidia has a 87% marketshare because for a long time, they were the only ones making good GPUs, and they were actually priced pretty well. However, the COVID shortage had left a bad taste in people mouth regarding Nvidia, plus they’re continuing to get greedier and greedier. Meanwhile, AMD has stepped up its game 100x, the 6000-7000 are beasts and are actually affordable, AMD was just previously known for having bad cards, but now they seem to have ironed that out. AMD is slowly chipping away at Nvidias market share, and Nivida keeps shooting itself in the foot. Remember people, competition is GOOD.
They were good but nvidia becomes a greedy mess... even the fact that the recently annouced they will releas a card every year was a big no no... there is so much more about AMD to like... for example the Drivers are open Source and even the new stuff usually supports older cards... for gaming you realy should take a peek at AMD before buying a overpriced GPU... for exempale just a couple days ago i bought a RX 6750 xt for 352 € (371 $) and it can perform on a level of a RTX 3070 even at some games with a RTX 3070ti... and a ti goes for about 150 more... so i am a AMD guy now
Nvidia is alwaysgoing to have the bigger market share until amd becomes common outside of the US. Right now there is a very limited selection of amd cards outside of the US.
Slowly chipping away? Lol maybe you need to learn how to read graphs. Whats the YTD for market shares? Compare Q1 Q2 Q3, whats the market share? You can applaud intel as rhey are doing well in the gpu segment. AMD fanbois at it again. Lol

One thing to note is valve made a statement as to why it happens. AMD's anti-lag works by subverting the game dlls. Valve said that once this is fixed any bans cause by it will be reversed.
@squarebodyseth5986 so then in 9 years we won't care about this? New technology that is added outside of the game engine will obviously send red flags to any anti cheat. Something messing with a games code is exactly what a hacker client does.
@@Griff99itaYeah, but your also ignoring the tons of other overlays that valve anti cheat detects, like OBS. The blame lies somewhat with AMD for not telling Valve how it works, but it’s mainly valves fault for having an anti cheat that’s too sensitive.

Hi Zach, I have a question. So I have a 1000 € budget and I'm thinking of getting an Rx 7700 XT and a Ryzen 5600( the 7600 is too expensive). Do you consider this a good system for gpu heavy games and what case and what motherboard (not important if wifi or not)would you recommend ? Btw love your videos.
@chotuyadav-hq5tg please don't tell me you got your bottleneck estimate from an online calculator... these sites are fake as well, no one can predict bottleneck and even if the 5600X did ever bottleneck a 7800XT, it'd take a catastrophic miracle to put it down by 50%
Get a 7500f and 4070. Dont buy a DDR4 platform in 2023, its a dead end for later upgrade. And i honestly dont recommend getting an AMD GPUs as it offers same performance at very little price off but you are losing CUDA, RT, and DLSS
Amd is too underrated people over price or pay the same money for a mid range gpu from Nvidia over high end amd gpu for mostly the drivers issues which is not a real anymore( every gpu might have a drivers issues it’s not only amd problem) of course I’m not talking about everyone but a lot of people doing it and it makes no sense( unless u want or need a Nvidia gpu)
Problem is the stigma is already entrenched in people's mind. People tends to buy something that is kinda true and tested and very reluctant to switch side since they're already got used by the features of their preferred GPU manufacturer.
AMD seriously taught that messing with DLL files is fine? thats literally what hackers DO!!! fugging hell this company is hopeless. NEVER BUY RADEON. you want people with this kind of logic make your gpu drivers? HELL NO.
Calling it a huge fail on account of 1 game causing this type of an issue is harsh. For starters its not AMD's fault its Valve's. Antilag and Antilag+ are fantastic in supported games. Also its only Antilag+ in CS2 causing this you can use regular antilag still without issues. This is because Anti+ modifies the engines rendering flow to make it respond faster, antilag regular shouldnt cause these issues. And while youre pulling up the marketshare ratio in this context keep in mind that its early tech and is going to have bugs that AMD at least acknowledges and will fix. Cant say the same for Nvidia and the 12VHPWR connector on 40 series still melting to this day (if you have a 40 series this is your reminder to check that connector regularly). Not hating on you btw you are a great techtuber, just letting those who care to read this comment know that you need to see issues like this from all angles.
It's completely AMD's fault. They changed the render pipeline of games without telling anyone ahead of time, and now it's screwing Valve and others over. Valve is actually super pissed at AMD for this because now they have to update and adhere to AMD's bs and roll out unbans.
@@weth3844 you talk as if Nvidia never pulled any bullshit before, just look at how EVGA got so fed up they quit making GPUs, look at early Reflex and how trash it was, hackers could inject scripts thanks to it, plenty of other small things over the years, wouldn't be surprised if many small and medium studios had to rush to update their games in the past because of miscommunication on Nvidia's side on their updates
Eh, Nvidia has the market share because they got in early and USED to be affordable. If I used the same logic I could say that the only reason windows has a huge market share is because everyone sucks. Not the case. Bad argument.
beacuse AMD made there antilag + work like a cheat and released it without comunicating to anticheat devlopers about it how tf are anticheat devs supposed to know that amd would release it and have it work exactly how allot of cheats work
No its 100% on AMD, They detoured the game's DLL and injected their own, Thats straight up how cheat software works. It is entirely reasonable for an anti cheat to detect and ban for that. It's also not just CS2 banning people a few other games did it too.
Hee definitely an amd fanboy he scoffs at Nvidia any chance he gets For example, he posted a video titled “can we let Nvidia get away with this?” In response to the 40 series super launch which was, by the way, fantastic. Nvidia got a new launch and gamers got a discounted card and a few extra fps. It’s super in the fact that price to performance is better which you seem to love so much in amd
No, first I can no longer play Counter strike with my nvidia graphics card due to something to do in the drivers and now that i am buying an amd card this happens? Cs2 has some serious problems they need to deal with.
Nah that's not why nvidia has 87% market share that's because they have always made faster high end cards... they have almost always been the worst price/performance
AMD almost always have been the best price to perf, what are you talking about Nvidia started years earlier, put prebuilts and system integrators in lockdown, has massive backstage deals with basically everyone and AMD does what it can with what it has and still manages to beat Nvidia in price to performance, can't blame them for focusing on performance when they got limited market to fund R&D for features with
idk why people call it an L for AMD, if Nvidia can push Reflex on their cards, why is Valve kicking AMD in the nuts for doing the same is beyond me, that's a Valve L but AMD users are the ones suffering from it
Hold on, how it's fail on red team, and not the broken VAC system who has history of banning innocent players before, but literally can't detect real cheaters?

I believe Nvidia reflex is only available on any game that has support for it, anticheat allows the Reflex DLL being injected, or simply it’s a really simple game that didn’t have anti cheat in the first place.
also reported and confirmed on APEX and CoD. its totally AMDs fault. try again fanboy
They were good but nvidia becomes a greedy mess... even the fact that the recently annouced they will releas a card every year was a big no no... there is so much more about AMD to like... for example the Drivers are open Source and even the new stuff usually supports older cards... for gaming you realy should take a peek at AMD before buying a overpriced GPU... for exempale just a couple days ago i bought a RX 6750 xt for 352 € (371 $) and it can perform on a level of a RTX 3070 even at some games with a RTX 3070ti... and a ti goes for about 150 more... so i am a AMD guy now
Frfr
Nvidia is alwaysgoing to have the bigger market share until amd becomes common outside of the US.
Right now there is a very limited selection of amd cards outside of the US.
Slowly chipping away? Lol maybe you need to learn how to read graphs. Whats the YTD for market shares? Compare Q1 Q2 Q3, whats the market share? You can applaud intel as rhey are doing well in the gpu segment.
AMD fanbois at it again. Lol

"If you're on team nvidia, you're gonna love this story"
No. Team green or not, why would anyone love others getting banned unfairly for toggling on a latency reduction feature?
agreed and why would it be team reds fault if its a false flag?
One thing to note is valve made a statement as to why it happens. AMD's anti-lag works by subverting the game dlls. Valve said that once this is fixed any bans cause by it will be reversed.
I think people forget too quickly when Nvidia 900 series was getting people banned in games as well
your talking about something that happened 10 years ago lmao who cares?
@squarebodyseth5986 so then in 9 years we won't care about this? New technology that is added outside of the game engine will obviously send red flags to any anti cheat. Something messing with a games code is exactly what a hacker client does.
I dont see how this is AMD's fault tho. Easy fix aswell.
They changed the render pipeline of games without telling anyone ahead of time, It's completely AMD's fault
@@Griff99ita ah I see. Since I've only heard it happen with CS so far I assumed it was just because newer software that wasn't accounted for.
@@Griff99itaYeah, but your also ignoring the tons of other overlays that valve anti cheat detects, like OBS. The blame lies somewhat with AMD for not telling Valve how it works, but it’s mainly valves fault for having an anti cheat that’s too sensitive.
@@Griff99itanah, it's just VAC not working properly since CS : Source was a thing, everyone has a story with VAC or knows someone who has, especially this new, completely untested, modification Valve did to VAC, that would deal VAC bans on report, VAC can ban you even for OBS use, as it already did in the past and somehow this still happens although on a smaller scale
@allancoelho6905 VAC banned me once when I upgraded my graphics card and the old driver had not been cleared. VAC has a bad history of problems like you said lol

Blaming the vendor when the anti-cheat screws up is an L take.
Yeah sure, DLL tampering is fine. I wonder why every anti cheat blocks it
Nvidia is still not getting my money though, also I play Cyberpunk and Slime Rancher... I doubt I'm worried about getting banned from those games anytime soon
> Nvidia is still not getting my money though
> I play Cyberpunk
fun fact: they are partners
AMD should jump on this as a good marketing campaign. "Our anti-lag technology is so good it's basically cheating" or something like that.
They should use this for a future ad thats an awsome way to put this situation.
If the anti cheat considera Anti Lag as unfair means then its a big dub for Team Red because you knoe that shits working
Its ok for 1440 if u want u wont have much problem at all
Get RX 7800XT for just 50$ more and you are gonna love it
@chotuyadav-hq5tg please don't tell me you got your bottleneck estimate from an online calculator... these sites are fake as well, no one can predict bottleneck and even if the 5600X did ever bottleneck a 7800XT, it'd take a catastrophic miracle to put it down by 50%
Get a 7500f and 4070. Dont buy a DDR4 platform in 2023, its a dead end for later upgrade. And i honestly dont recommend getting an AMD GPUs as it offers same performance at very little price off but you are losing CUDA, RT, and DLSS
@@sas408
>Same performance at very little price off
Depends, 4080 gets beaten from 5 to 12% performance for 300$ less...
LMFAO, Our Frame Generation and Lag Reduction is so fucking Good we're getting banned for it 💀💀💀
Im team green but to be honest, that is not AMDs fault. Could have happened to Nvidia too.
Bro's faking the biggest smile on his face💀
Amd is too underrated people over price or pay the same money for a mid range gpu from Nvidia over high end amd gpu for mostly the drivers issues which is not a real anymore( every gpu might have a drivers issues it’s not only amd problem) of course I’m not talking about everyone but a lot of people doing it and it makes no sense( unless u want or need a Nvidia gpu)
Problem is the stigma is already entrenched in people's mind.
People tends to buy something that is kinda true and tested and very reluctant to switch side since they're already got used by the features of their preferred GPU manufacturer.
Just like they buy iphones when Android have many more features half the price
i've never owned an nvidia and don't plan to. never had a problem with an amd in 20+ years
Does this include Radeon integrated graphics
AMD seriously taught that messing with DLL files is fine? thats literally what hackers DO!!! fugging hell this company is hopeless. NEVER BUY RADEON. you want people with this kind of logic make your gpu drivers? HELL NO.
Have fun selling your micro-penis for the next Nvidia graphics card. Hope that they’ll buy for 2k per inch, cuz 3k is all your getting😂
Sounds like somebody just woke up
I hope your okay!! You sound a little hoarse bro!! Stay well!
Don't see it as "team Red fail". Valve f'd up once again
It’s not AMDs fault. Counter strike it the only game that have this problem ? Counter strike is the garbage can.
you aren’t an amd fanboy, you just have a brain
Is it really amd's falt? Or is just VAC being awful like normal
If it was multiple games then it would be amd fault for sure.
Seems more like vac to me.
It's completely AMD's fault. They changed the render pipeline of games without telling anyone ahead of time, and now it's screwing Valve and others over. Valve is actually super pissed at AMD for this because now they have to update and adhere to AMD's bs and roll out unbans.

Eh, Nvidia has the market share because they got in early and USED to be affordable. If I used the same logic I could say that the only reason windows has a huge market share is because everyone sucks. Not the case. Bad argument.
Why are we even blaming AMD for this???
This is an effing eff-up by the anticheat developers. No one else to blame.
beacuse AMD made there antilag + work like a cheat and released it without comunicating to anticheat devlopers about it how tf are anticheat devs supposed to know that amd would release it and have it work exactly how allot of cheats work
No its 100% on AMD, They detoured the game's DLL and injected their own, Thats straight up how cheat software works. It is entirely reasonable for an anti cheat to detect and ban for that. It's also not just CS2 banning people a few other games did it too.
Hee definitely an amd fanboy he scoffs at Nvidia any chance he gets
For example, he posted a video titled “can we let Nvidia get away with this?” In response to the 40 series super launch which was, by the way, fantastic. Nvidia got a new launch and gamers got a discounted card and a few extra fps. It’s super in the fact that price to performance is better which you seem to love so much in amd
AMD is not a joke, Counter Strike 2 is. Dude, those mfs allow hackers but they can't allow a goddamn feature to run a game faster.
AMD almost always have been the best price to perf, what are you talking about
Nvidia started years earlier, put prebuilts and system integrators in lockdown, has massive backstage deals with basically everyone and AMD does what it can with what it has and still manages to beat Nvidia in price to performance, can't blame them for focusing on performance when they got limited market to fund R&D for features with
I hate this war. I will buy an AMD because I'm fed up with the price. And I'm not arguing with other people. I am stating objective facts

Hold on, how it's fail on red team, and not the broken VAC system who has history of banning innocent players before, but literally can't detect real cheaters?
