That is how custom Gheenoe did their wiring. They don't run it through the grab bar. I doubt that there would be enough room in the bar to handle the wiring
Do you have a list of all the options to select if I want to order one identical to this boat? I have zero experience with this type of boat so not having pictures on the website to show me the difference between a grab bar and T bar, or the difference between the different cushion options and things like that makes it a bit difficult to really place an order. The boat in this video would be perfect for me though.
Really, really nice boat. I like the fact that you don't need a new 1/2 ton truck to pull it. Trying to find a boat that can do fish/hunt duty, haul 2 NFL sized men and a dog but isn't a pontoon. 😁
Assuming you have a separate cranking battery did you say that your trolling motor battery is being charged with the outboard running. I know that’s the case for the cranking battery but I didn’t know that you can charge 2 batteries at the same time.
Let's say you are coming from using kayaks majority of your boating career. Which is easier? The tiller? The center console? or stick steer? I love this set up especially when using the boat solo. Seems so simply and easy to use. Plus I assume lighter vs the center console setup.
I prefer a small boat to fish like a big boat so I guess my preference goes to stick steering. It's there while you're running, but as soon as you kill the engine there's nothing to walk around or move out of the way. And stick steering can be positioned so the driver is up front. It helps with hole shot and getting up on plane fast vs bury the ass end deeper in the water. Forward seating is ALWAYS better for running solo. Always.
Any time you step into a brand new fiberglass boat your going to get that sound. After that you never hear it again. Good question though. It freaked me out first time I heard it. I was brand new in the boat business and we were about to sea trial a carolina skiff. It was normal I just didn't know it.
@@LostAngler ahh, ok I was just freaked out when I heard that, thinking that the whole deck cracked. Also- do those gheenoes have a separate deck on top of the hull? So like are there drains in the deck that drain down to the bilge?
Seriously thinking about selling my 6'×14' dual axel enclosed trailer and cub Cadet 800cc just to begin building one of these. I'd sell my truck if I didn't need it to pull the boat lol
Great video review.
A walkthrough of a Super 18 would be great, if you have one!
This is the perfect gheenoe build!
I agree!
With that trailer what’s the overall length. Can it fit in a 19ft garage.
I went to measure one today for this reason. From folded tongue to prop was roughly 19ft17"
Love these builds. Looking to get one within the year. Real excited.
Good deal!
How much is this set up. Do they make an 18 ft or so model also?. I'm lookin for something like this. Under 18 grand would be nice.
Can you steer from sitting on top?
Why not run the wiring from the control panel through the grab bar instead of drilling another hole in the floor?

I do. Just give me a call at the store tomorrow. The store is open from 10-6 Tuesday - Saturday 251-517-5755. And this boat is still available
What length is that tiller handle going to buy one right in looks like a 30inch
30 is fine and you can always cut it to length

This will do it. I often guide two good in mine
I could pull it with my jeep
I pull mine just fine with a subaru crosstrek.

How long, on average, from order to delivery?
It depends on how far out the orders are. So now your order would start in November and deliver in February
Nice
I’ve never seen a Gheenoe with trim tabs, would it help with the wet ride their known for?
Gorgeous boat, how much was this one about?
She was right at 17k

Was that the fiberglass cracking?

@@ollie_3220 yes sir they do. They also have a box stringer system
Is the motor a 15” short shaft?

Yes

You're going to get wet.
You don't. I pull mine with my subarilu crosstrek 2.0liter just fine.
Where are you located in Alabama?
Yes sir, in Daphne
@@LostAngler cool! I was just in Daphne a few week ago. Purchased a new Truck from Sandy Sandsing.
"Short shaft to work with" saddest words ever spoken.
🤣🤣🤣
