*Hunter.* Its always been hunter for me since Cata. I love every spec and use them all. I'll level and overland content as a BM, run Heroics as SV and PvP as MM. Its easier to do that now more than ever. My alts are always my Mage and my Druid.
I have played every class fairly extensively. About 7 months ago I finally leveled a monk and wow. I try to mess around with other melee classes and they are just less fun and engaging for me. Same goes for Brew and mist. Might not be the Meta but damn they’re fun. Monk is my main and I don’t see that changing any time soon. So much fun in every spec.
Warrior since Vanilla but I'm switching to Druid. I've always been pulled towards feral and boy does it feel great in the beta and live. Prot warrior will be my main alt then monk as alt.
2:53 - 3:05 I can tell you don't do dungeons very often. Overzealous dps generally tend to do a lot of pulling because they think they're more important than the rest of the group.
I find that even more than thematic, playstyle (rotation and how good each button feels to press) means even more. I personally never liked the fantasy of what a monk is. It felt to eastern for my classical fantasy taste. But man, once I picked it up in legion because Destruction warlock felt like it was lacking compared to the golden age of MoP destro lock, I fell in love with its playstyle instantly. The rotation is so smooth and buttery. The buttons feel good to press, never hitting the same button twice in a row. It clicked. So, over time I learned to love the thematic. TLDR - Playstyle > thematic
6:43 GTFO addon helps a lot with that...although, it might scare the crap out of you when it goes off till you get used to it, but the sound will def make you want to move just to shut it up lol
For the first time since I've started in WoD, I have a clear main in my mind for Dragonflight and the foreseeable future. The Evoker. I really like their blend of Mage and DH play style
I returned about a month ago and am struggling to find a class I love. Tried hunter, mage, warlock, Druid, Paladin, DH and monk. All leveled to 45-50. But none feel right. Moving over to horde and starting a warrior tonight. Hopefully this is the one 🤞
Make sure to try leveling them to 60 you're missing out on some points from the skills tree to help get a full feel of the class. Hope u find something!!
I always play the new race /class when one is introduced. The story is very decent, and it goes very well with new mechanics, and it does not feel bad as with your main and alts when you have to replace your raid gear with random quest rewards :) Once I leveled the char to max, it depends how much fun it was and if it will stay the new main, or if I level my favourite char next and do the endgame content. After WotLK, the DK became my new Main char after years of playing the shaman. DH was a very nice leveling experience, but it never became a favouried char and I leveled it at last. I don't think the Dractyr will be the main, don't really like ranged DDs nor healer, so I assume I will go for the shaman or DK again, depending of what makes more fun. Didnt play much with the new talent tree and of course have some points left to spend (and therefor think again about what to pick) when reaching Max Level. But mostly, I wanna have fun and enjoy New regions and the New flying system!!
I always level my Druid as a Guardian and get in those early Normal/Heroic queues then switch to either Feral or Balance end game. Feral in DF is looking really good. That being said, I'm no expert. I main a Hunter after all.
im returning to my roots and maining my hunter the first class i ever picked when my dad first recruited me to Wow. then my secondary being evoker and my pally. my dk may actually take a more leisurely role in dragonflight
i usually do one of each armor type, starting with the BM Hunter. But this time around, if I do the Hunter, that means I won't be testing out the Evoker until I've done the dest warlock, the prot pally and the guardian druid. So, we'll have to see.
I've been having trouble deciding this time. I usually go with the new class when there is one, but I highly prefer melee DPS. I've been having a lot of fun with Ret Paladin, but I don't like how limited the available races are for it. The last few xpacs I've mained DK because I can be the race I want, and since I'm not really a fan of the class identity I just mog for an engineer look. I'll probably do that again for DF, but I really wish Blizz would just let any race be any non-hero class. I will play a lot of alts but it seems like the alt-friendly nature of the xpac doesn't really kick in until you've made significant progress on your main, so switching around a lot as I level seems a bad option too.
Druid is the master race, change my mind. You have: ranged dmg spec, melee dmg spec, tank spec, healing spec, stealth and move speed boost in all specs, mid air mount up, 100% move speed in non-mountable dungeons like Vortex Pinnacle for dragon farm...
Hey Kelani have a question for you have any idea how to fix the dmg your doing to show on screen? Mine been invisible for months now tried reinstalling but dmg still not showing and blizzard support isn’t the best..
First thing I did when choosing was to turn off damage meters so as to not bias my choice with numbers. Once I did that the only character whose fun stood on rotation alone was WW monk.
I started play in wow in prepatch SL and I choose holy priest (i didnt know about which class is good or no. I wanted be a priest), and I love my holy main. In next expansion I will play as holy. I love healing but its sametimes stressful and sad (when random people blame me for their mistakes because they dont know mechanics or standing on fire)
This expansion i decided that i wont have any alts. Will leave my hunter, monk, dh behind and try something that i havnt main before and that is Warlock. All 3 spec seams fun but demo is my cup of thee. Love the dark theme with deamons, got alot insane transmog and green fire! 🤟 Metal music will be blasting in my speakers 🤟
Just got a draenei paladin to level 20 on my trial account I'm a brand new player haven't done any raids or pvp yet are palys bad at pvp and raids ? Trying to make a new class been thinking about a rogue or a fury warrior but I kinda like the act of being able to heal myself while doing damage
Was going with a monk for the options but recent nerfs and the fact that monk's always broken in some way, makes me concider other options of rogue or dk/warrior.
@@jesperjohansson9857 I Agree, played the beta these past weeks and the damage was high but i think they nerft it too much. But we'll see the numbers once raiding starts.
I always play hybrids/hybrid-healers first so most of my time in WoW has been as a Shaman, looking at Paladin and Evoker to try out, or maybe I'll finally stick out a Druid. If Dragonflight proves more... alluring than Shadowlands did probably a tank next probably Protadin here, but I haven't tried Brewmaster Monk yet or any Monk really. Only thing I would say different from your opinions here is the blanket statement of Ranged DPS is easier, while for group content, almost 100% agree, but I think Melee are easier to solo/level up due to vastly better innate durability and being less skill focused on staying alive, i.e. Kiting, CC cycling etc, many can just face tank mobs for longer than it takes to kill them. Your reasoning is also why I like doing most content as a healer first, since it often gives the best vantage point with the least amount of unique interaction, so it gives a lot of free headroom to watch for things to happen.
I have been maining a beastmaster hunter since the original TBC, so I will probably play that into Dragonflight. That said, I also like to test the new classes when they enter the game, so I did play the story in Legion on a demon hunter and probably will also roll an evoker.
Resto druid main for pve, boomkin for questing. Was hunter for a long time but not enjoying those waiting times in LFR and LFD. Also thinking about making resto for other faction to get to know story from both sides 🟥🟦
I changed my main from tank to healer for SL and I love it. I agree what u said about healers, we always get💩on and always by dps… I’ve had to defend a healer because 1 dps was dying all the time so politely told him why.
I always level my warrior to start but it's been as Arms since Cata. I tanked the Uldaman dungeon yesterday for the quest. Maybe I'll do some tanking this expac.
I do feel like DH and Hunter are very close with regards to ease of play, with DH winning out by a small margin. Dps DH feels like the dps version of a guardian druid imo🤷
@SignsOfKelani I agree tank and heal is hardest and are always people seem to be unapreciative and thankful also you and also tank is stressfull cause you have people who dont follow well or dps may pull extra and you have to adjust and pick up their mistake
Mained shaman in tbc, wrath, cata.. didn't play in mop or wod. Came back for legion switched to dh for my main for legion, bfa, and shadowlands. I'll be going dk now which I've kept as a priority alt since wrath, it feels really good, the burst aoe on unholy every 45 seconds feels great. Plus, if they do class storylines in DF, the Dks I feel like will have the most interesting arc.
Sticking to my Druid. I used to love the books Animorphs when I was a kid. So shapeshifting is epic imo. I main resto, but dabble in feral and balance also. I use Guardian to solo old hard content easier ha.
I have been playing (off and on) since burning crusade and have played every class to max level. My favourite is druid for healing and tanking and hunters for DPS. I usually spend most of my time on my hunter. Cool pets, easier leveling (at lvl67 i managed to solo a 5man world quest and i am not particularly skillful as a player). Imo hunters get the best of all dps worlds. You can go melee if you want, use your pet to tank for you while leveling, have instant cast attacks which allow mobility, and lots of utility to debuff, interupt, control and restrict. Plus they are just so fun with some nice burst attacks for those juicy and satisfying high damage numbers. For first time players i cannot recommend hunters enough.
I've played my Blood Elf BM Hunter for almost 2 decades, and because i went through so much with this toon, i will have it as my continued main, and bringing it into the new Dragonflight expansion with me. It hasn't let me down and i trust it enough not to ever do so. ^_^
@@SirPhilMcCrackinVonBeggington Reason i say more than, my daughter is 15 years old now. (She was born in April of 07) And i started playing before she was even conserved or born. Keep in mind, iff u saw that i wrote almost... So yes, more than 15 years is accurate for me.
The add on "GTFO" is a must for me! lol I am always stupidly standing directly in something that is going to kill me and that add on has saved me way more times than I'd like to admit hahahaha
I'm joining WoW Specifically for the evoker, so that's gonna be what I try to main. Maybe druid as a side one cause I love their aesthetic, but evoker is what I hope to master someday, healer is the planned spec
I like trying different mains in each xpac. Unfortunately that means I have a bunch of cool stuff spread out across many characters instead of consolidated on one character. Oh well... having fun is the best way to go. 😁👍 Btw, why so many Vulpera thumbnails? (I probably shouldn't have asked. Lol)
I think I'm gonna go as usual. First my blood DK (mining/bs), then my arcmage (jc/enchant). They are my mains after all. The rest of my alts will have to wait :)
I’m very new to WoW and currently playing the free trial. I still haven’t decided on a main but it might actually be warrior. I originally wanted paladin for the versatility but I keep seeing they have slow or low mobility which will frustrate me a lot. On the end, I might have a couple alts as well.
I think my main(s) will be Warlock, Nage and Hunter as usual, though I will be playing Disc and both Resto's as well. (I really dont know if I will main dps or switch to heals, usually depends on my raid group needs)
I’ve Mained a prot paladin since tbc, but I’m thinking of switching to monk this expansion. I’m not built to be a healer I’ve always played a tank, but I wanna do some melee dps for a change. Who knows I might end up just being a prot pally again
I find tanking, especially M+ with all the "perfect paths" to be the most stressful think in the game. Staying alive, holding aggro, etc. All easy. Dealing with all the toxic BS from the DPS when you pull the "wrong" pack... just no thanks. Going to try healing this expansion, been playing resto shaman a LOT and finding I can generally out-dps the tank and sometimes even one or even 2 of the DPS depending on the dungeon, all while keeping (most of) the dps alive as well. I really hope I love the playstyle of Dracthyr, because healer and ranged DPS are my favorite play styles - we'll find out in a few days!
I think for the first time ever, I might leave my Combat/Outlaw Rogue behind. I classically always played a Rogue, Hunter, and a third flex. This time I may shift to primary Demon Hunter and secondary Monk because for the first time ever, I think I'm willing to try out tanking. As far as melee DPS, I'm not straying far from my roots with DH and monk, especially with the style of outlaw, but tanking may be new. I'm debating picking up another in DK as well. Maybe.
Came back to Wow since they finally fixed the MacOS key binds. Deleted 8 classes and have 3 that I'm planning on working with. Hunter, Dragon, and Shammy. I'm not crazy about leveling 3 but it's a lot better than 11. Sticking to the ones that I find fun.
Im really torn so I think Im gonna abandon my Ret Pally of 17 years to “main” devastation, havoc and fury. I usually have at least one of every class at max level so Enhance or BM might sneak in at some point
Prot warrior for me, we haven’t gotten love in a long time and now we shine so for the 18th year in a row I’m maining prot warrior! I might actually get to do some raiding finally now that we aren’t trash 😂

13 years I've been playing my warrior and I'm gonna mix it up now with the new hero class. Can't wait.
Warrior since Vanilla but I'm switching to Druid. I've always been pulled towards feral and boy does it feel great in the beta and live. Prot warrior will be my main alt then monk as alt.
Warrior is getting more fun and better in all 3 specs. Not the best time to reroll. Ill keep my warrior main thats for sure
Idk why but I find, "Hey folks this is Kelani" super comforting.
IS Frost DK still stuck on the "Breath" build? Thanks love your content!!! Prolly be between 3 BM/Enhance/Frost DK for me.
Going with my Warrior for this expansion, a Kul Tirian male so I can live my How to train your dragon viking fantasy!
Oh man, that's a cute image
I always play the new race /class when one is introduced. The story is very decent, and it goes very well with new mechanics, and it does not feel bad as with your main and alts when you have to replace your raid gear with random quest rewards :)
Once I leveled the char to max, it depends how much fun it was and if it will stay the new main, or if I level my favourite char next and do the endgame content.
Hearing enhance will be decent in DF that true?
Cant decide between Feral/Guardian, Arms/Prot and Demon Hunter. Both tanking and Dpsing. I just love 3 classes so much.
Really appreciate this thx bro! 🙏🏻
Race can sometimes play a part in a choice also. Like I hated Paly until I could play it as a zandalari to offset the over the top light theme
I’ve been playing DH since 96 and will continue to do so
Just got a draenei paladin to level 20 on my trial account I'm a brand new player haven't done any raids or pvp yet are palys bad at pvp and raids ? Trying to make a new class been thinking about a rogue or a fury warrior but I kinda like the act of being able to heal myself while doing damage
Was going with a monk for the options but recent nerfs and the fact that monk's always broken in some way, makes me concider other options of rogue or dk/warrior.
ww monk needed nerfs its was brokenly OP on the beta.
if you follow whats broken and whats not ull be changing main every patch
@@jesperjohansson9857 I Agree, played the beta these past weeks and the damage was high but i think they nerft it too much. But we'll see the numbers once raiding starts.
@@kkthxbai That's not what i ment. Monk has had abilitys that's been broken for years and years.
I always end up regretting not being a Druid. So I'ma be a Druid again. Feral main, I think.
I picked up resto druid yesterday, I’m 1600xp and I’m loving it
i love Frost DK just makes me happy
I agree what u said about healers, we always get💩on and always by dps… I’ve had to defend a healer because 1 dps was dying all the time so politely told him why.
thank you so much for these videos :)
All my achievements are on my druid, but i want to change it up and play my paladin - will they share achievements?
Account bound, your character technically won't have it but if people click on you, they will see your account achievements point anyway
I want to main a camel
Have you never raided with a bandage spec rogue?
I always level my warrior to start but it's been as Arms since Cata. I tanked the Uldaman dungeon yesterday for the quest. Maybe I'll do some tanking this expac.
I do feel like DH and Hunter are very close with regards to ease of play, with DH winning out by a small margin. Dps DH feels like the dps version of a guardian druid imo🤷
Survival is nit easy in pvp,ur cluess if u think so
I'll be maining Evo but thanks to rated Solo Shuffle, it looks like I'll be able to maintain my other 4: monk, druid, pally, hunter.
Great exaggeration. Blood elves weren't in Vanilla--they were introduced in 2007. so your "almost 20 years" is more like "barely 15 years".
For over a decade...my main has been Hunter. My alt has always been Warlock. Thanks for the recommendations! I'll wait for Evoker.
Thanks for the video
The add on "GTFO" is a must for me! lol
I am always stupidly standing directly in something that is going to kill me and that add on has saved me way more times than I'd like to admit hahahaha
Btw, why so many Vulpera thumbnails? (I probably shouldn't have asked. Lol)
This has been me for my entire history of the game too. Only ever played the same main in 2 consecutive expansions one time
I remember playing my hunter in 9.1 and being given the job to turtle and go eat all the orbs in the fatescribe fight
Or turtle and go eat the traps in some of the other shadowlands boss fights
@@xINVISIGOTHx yea lol
Vulpera Hunter. Vulpera Mage. My go to Mains. Will level a Feral Druid for Tanking now though!
The best thing about hunters is they can be both ranged AND melee dps
Best thing about Druids is they can do melee, ranged, heal, tank, oh wait we're talking about a semi useful class.
Waiting until Tuesday to figure out which, between hunter and evoker, I'll be going through DF with 1st. Then I'll do the other, followed by others
I’m new to the game and I have so many characters and I’m going to make many more
With beast master hunter you can potentially have 5 pets attacking an enemy, Its incredibly op
Been playing beast master since panda land and I never looked back
Hopium that Dracthyr get a tank spec someday, cause I'm still itching for an earth-based "caster" tank.
I think I'm gonna go as usual. First my blood DK (mining/bs), then my arcmage (jc/enchant). They are my mains after all. The rest of my alts will have to wait :)
Also dps role as a 500 IQ shadow priest is harder then any tank or healer. Ooh I miss CATA shadow form...
I’m very new to WoW and currently playing the free trial. I still haven’t decided on a main but it might actually be warrior. I originally wanted paladin for the versatility but I keep seeing they have slow or low mobility which will frustrate me a lot.
On the end, I might have a couple alts as well.
Fury/prot war as main. Ele shaman might be alt or maybe evoker depending if i enjoy that. We'll see
I think my main(s) will be Warlock, Nage and Hunter as usual, though I will be playing Disc and both Resto's as well.
Maybe.
Just play what class andt spec you want to play
Hunter, Death Knight/Warrior (still can't fully decide between) & Evoker I think for me.
I'm a simple man that loves beer.
That's why I rolled a human brewmaster monk.
The hardest one is healer because they need heal and still do dps !!! Crazy life !!! I prefer tank or maybe dps
I came out from dps !! Was hunter for some seasons but now how good the tanks came up now I change to DH tank and are very funny to play
I think im gonna do warr tnak. so good.
What’s the choose? I’ve been a warrior since wrath. Why change
It is true. The theme does matters and it dictates your pleasure of playing. Thank you Kelani
Prot war, been having a blast.
