DarkSkies I agre, you gotta love 'em, but 6 months later I am STILL disgusted by the total lack of effort we showed in that game. Our team has had a very good run the last few years but we would have another title or two if we hadn't gotten lazy at key times.
Yeah, they did thr same thing games 3 and 5. Chauncey, Rip, Maxiell, and McDyess were money, but Sheed and Tey were dodgy that whole series. Also Maxiell should've been getting all of Theo Ratliff's minutes. Boston was exposing Ratliff all series, but Maxiell was killing Boston on both ends of the floor and was all in KG's head. KG wanted no part of Maxiell. Edit: That's also why they lost in 05. They let SA embarrass them in games 1 and 2 before they finally showed up with real championship level effort.
I never accused the Pistons of being boring, the Pistons' management did. Fact is, even without Mason going to a Pistons game would be entertaining. So to add Mason detracts from the entertainment value of the Pistons since he's a distraction from the game itself. His job, or the job of any PA announcer is not to entertain, but to inform.

The Late Great Budd Lynch was awesome, too. I do like Man so, though. Although I am a traditionalist, I enjoy Mason and Mike Baiamonte of the Miami Heat.
