Wow! Perfect timing for me. I've been feeling really down about myself after having my daughter, my 3rd baby, in December.
I really appreciate your point of view, and advice. Following the word of God seems simple, but it is easy to forget these things when you're clouded with insecurities. 💗

Amen, thanks for sharing, Lana! I overcame the insecurity, with the Lord’s help, that my husband was looking at/lusting after other women (again, like you said, may or may not have been true! But I was still insecure about it constantly). I acknowledged that I can’t control him, I’m not responsible for how he thinks or acts, & released him as my husband & head of the marriage to the Lord Jesus. Replacing lies with the truth, the word of God! Amen! Thank You, Jesus, You did not leave us as orphans. We have the Holy Spirit.
While listening to your video, I thought of the example of Abigail. She could have been insecure because of her situation, but she stood firm & confident in the Lord for what she knew was right.
#1 : recognize your worth
#2 : recognize your strengths
#3 : stop conparing yourself to others
#4 : accept your imperfections
#5 : trust in God's plan
These are so powerful!!!
I used to tell myself that I suck at talking to other people, but Jesus brought me to the story of Moses.
I find this two important truths helpful to me.
1. I should not feel insecure if what I am doing glorifies God. (Even if my outfit does not follow the trend it's ok as long as God is glorified in what I am wearing.)
2. I should not feel insecure if what I am doing is a good example to my brothers and sisters and will not make them stumble.

Thank you for this. Right on time. I'll listen to it many times. I'm struggling due to betrayal from my husband. I'm working with the Lord to overcome the trauma and I'm free in Jesus name. I've forgiven in Jesus name. I'm trying to move forward but I don't want to be affected at all if my husband were to relapse which I declare won't happen in Jesus name. I'm in deep spiritual warfare from all angles. I want to be confident in who God made me. I'm going to take your advice and look for my strengths. I know my weaknesses all too well.
The way out is through the process of identifying our fears, finding the root cause, repent for believing lies and breaking those agreements with the lies. Sometimes it takes tiiiime.
Ps 91 is my favorit.

Sis. Lana, I totally love everything you said. What stuck with me most was that even if what we are thinking about ourselves is negative, it’s still a self centered way of thinking. BUT our focus should be on Christ. We must deny ourselves, including insecurities by shifting the focus back to where it should be: on Jesus & who He says we are. I thought that statement about denying ourselves concerning insecurities was very profound! Never heard anyone put it that way! So insightful! I can’t wait for your next video! I hope you are able to continue making them often bc we love your messages so much!!!

Insecurities have lessened in intensity through deliverance. Still gradually receiving more and more freedom & also renewing my mind about who I am in Christ.

Once i received the Holy Spirit, my insecurities left in an instant. Once i fully accepted and received the Turth that I belong to God and my value and identity is in HIM and being His daughter and wanting to please and obey Him..... All my past insecurities (my husband cheated). i had with my husband just left me. But its a daily work to stay close to God and Stay in His word and Reciting His promises for us throughout the day... Its so freeing once you release your husband to God, and abide completely in Jesus...
Insecurities - Lack of confidence....social withdrawals...be intentional to say enough is enough. Why do I fear, what am I afraid of .
Ps 91:1-2, 18:1-2, 12, Deut 31, Isaiah 41, 2 Thess 3:, combat the lie of Insecurity with Gods truth. Practical steps to overcome Insecurity.
1. Recognise my own worth Ps 139:14, higher self esteem is obtain when our Identity is in God.
2. Believe in my Strength Prov 31: 25, recognising, discovering your strength helps you fight insecurity. Stop seeing the negatives and find the positives that is present.
3, I should stop comparing myself with others. Gal 6:4 Comparison is the killer of joy.
4. I should accept my imperfections! 2 Cor 12:9 self acceptance is crucial for mental well being. loving yourself teaches others how to love you.
5. I am to trust in Gods plan for my life, in challenges and victories, Jer 29:11. I am loved and my Identity is in Christ not anyone else, I am to practice speaking Gods truth and trusting in Him. Lord I pray Freedom reign over me. Amen Thank you
Recently married (5/18/23) and jumped into my wife’s past and see all these guys who were fit and more attractive than me. More popular. More stable than me. I don’t know why she married me… I’m lost but it’s killing me.

I think that overcoming insecurities and weaknesses does not happen when we focus on our strengths! Overcoming them in possible only if we face them, or of course by a miracle, which can happen but it's rare. I think that is the way out, through the process of identifying our fears, finding the root cause, repent for believing lies and breaking those agreements. If it's a stronghold then it might take a process, healing might just have to happen in time. But it definitely doesn't happen just by focusing on the positive and on our strengths.
It is not rare for miracles to happen from experience ❤

Also thank you for dressing so modestly. Too many Christian ladies have given in to the temptation to compete and are wearing leggings with their bottoms hanging out, tight clothing, short skirts etc. we have to respect God, ourselves and others by covering our bodies and not giving into the cultures acceptable clothing.

I'm struggling at talking to other people. so I constantly compare myself with my sister who is good at talking and expressing herself. Even though I know I shouldn't be like that, once that feeling came, it just completely overpower my mind and I get so blue and my day is ruined ..that's a huge headache for me. It was a relief to see a woman talks about how to overcome insecurity. I saw some of you have overcame that and I'm so glad and relieved to hear that. I pray that I can overcome this insecurity by the grace of God as well❤️
Yes, thank you sister for being so honest and open and showing us ladies that we all share these feelings sometimes and it is definitely an attack from the enemy. It’s hard for wives these days with women walking around half naked everyday, we must accept that husbands will see this even if they look away. It’s sad but our identity is in Christ and we have to find peace in Him. ❤

Mrs Lana could you please address headcovering being an ordinance the church as stated in 1 Cor. 11? I was reading it awhile ago and started researching it, and i felt the Bible tells women we are to cover our heads with fabric, our hair is not our covering. I dont see any pastors speaking on this but i felt reading the Bible that it is something we should be doing as it states it dishonors God for us to pray uncovered. Since the Bible doesnt change due to culture i feel like this is something that is important for our submission as women of the body of Christ but ive been very confused on it because NO ONE talks about it? I pray you see this comment and could give us sisters in the faith some insight and wisdom, thank you.

I would love to see a video on how more people are running to cosmetic surgery to look above average nowadays. Although their might be some ppl who need help w/some deformity, which cosmetic surgery is fine in my opinion, I find it very arrogant and conceited for a Christian to adapt this new trend of changing the natural face God gave them. God sees the heart, not what we look like. And because God changes our heart, that reflects on the outside, which is why presentation on the outside is important, but not to the extent of allowing a doctor to put needles and implants inside your face, or body.
