Hey man! Frigggin sweet video. Those speakers are soooo nice. A point of suggestion if I can. I would take your center array and push those into the side-surround position in what would be the traditional "5.1" config where they are to the side and slightly behind you. Then, I would place your left in right in the traditional 60-degree triangle with the MLP (if they aren't already there) but with one very crucial adjustment. Toe the left and right speakers in so that they're acoustic centers cross about 1m in front of the MLP. While this will narrow the soundstage somewhat, it will dramatically increase the sweet spot of the new "phantom center" that you just created to about the size of a 3-seat couch, get rid of all the comb-filtering, and once again dramatically increase the fidelity of your system. If you were to set them up this way, please do not pass judgement until you run Dirac. When you run a phantom center and are listening to muilti-channel playback, the center image will have a slightly dip in the FR at 1.5khz and it will make it sound like you're running a quiet center channel. Running Dirac will fix that. This is the setup I currently employ but mine is a 7.1 with a phantom center. So, really a "6.1". Another option that is supported by many AVRs is a SR back channel that's comprised of one speaker instead of two. So, if you were to acquire two more THX-6000s, you could run a single center, a single SR back, and now have a different "6.1" system but with a center channel. Anyway, I love the home theater hobby and could talk all day. So many different ways to accomplish the same results. Very fun! Fantastic video!
Im running a 7.2.4 system right now with these, so the 5.1 wouldn't be an option. My system is already not up to dolby's standard since I am running dipoles for Atmos (5000lcr's). The comb filtering isn't noticeable and the fidelity is great as well. No complaints after getting a calibrated mic and getting dirac situated! I personally prefer the dual center. Its far more immersive than the single 6000. Thanks for the suggestions!

Klipsch actually owns the magnat brand. I would say most thx products carry a pretty neutral sound. Personally I'd go with the Klipsch, but I say that without hearing the magnats. I would also say to choose based on your budget

Is the Onko enough to power these? I just ordered the same receiver. I wanted to get a preowned Mcintosh MXT120 but wanted all the up to date dsp processing like Dolby Atmos, DTS-X. I have an old 7.1 Denon receiver and Boston Acoustic towers and center channel speaker which are 20yrs old. I keep the towers for dedicated music listening.

Planning to get the 6000LCRs in the front but I have never thought about bi-wiring two in the center😊 Worth concidering. Going for the Marantz Cinema 40 and dual SVS Sb16 ultras. Havent desided on a projector but it will be some lasertype. A question, however: Is it necesary with a power amp for these speaker or will the Marantz Cinema 40 be enough? Again thanx for the review👍🏻
Thanks for watching! I think having the extra amps help give you extra headroom, but these would be sensitive enough to give you good volume. It all comes down to how many speakers you are using. If you're using all 9 channels on the marantz, you may notice some loss in dynamics and fidelity as you turn your system up. My amps are overkill for my system

Would the 6000fii be your left and right channel? Personally, it's down to what you want. As pure cinema speakers, the lcr's outdo the rp line. But by the same token, I would say you could grab one more 6000fii and make it your center channel to match your left and right channel. This will add more coherence to your sound. What are you using as your surrounds and what not?

@@joniscraacked2 I can happily say for movies these are detailed and provide plenty of information to immerse you. At this point, we have so many great options for speakers. I think a lot of it comes down to the amps and processor. Dirac made as big of a difference in my room as the speakers themselves
They're great for a small room. You will have plenty of detail for movies and tv shows. These produce great clarity even at low volume. Same with the 5000's.

I'm afraid that the 6000 series will give more bass. I'm looking for focused sounds, I want to hear every detail and the conversations to be clear, because the klipsch Rp-504cii has a series port, the sounds are muffled, the sounds coming from the center are not clearly heard
@@leatijoseph828 the 5000 and 6000 both share the same tweeter and are plenty detailed in my opinion. For the size, the 5000 is a great option..I don't think you'll be disappointed
Completely agree on playing games in the home theater. Headphones will never be able to give the same immersive experience as outboard speakers.
It's the truth! There's a sense of scale you cant get with headphones

It really depends how many channels you're running and how loud you listen. What is your setup?

What’s the difference between kl650 thx and kl 6000 lcr ?
The only difference I know is the finish. The 650 is smooth while the 6000 has a textured paint
