Amaar bhalobashar JU. Felt so nostalgic. Passed my BE in instrumentation engg in 1991 and my ME in Electronics and Telecommunications engg in 1993.
Seeing the video and all those familiar buildings and pathways where i spent almost 6 years of my academic life, made me so nostalgic. Khub ichhe korchilo ekbar phire giye dekhi❤

@LazyPrettyAnonna Whatever be it, Jadavpur Engineering boys are more privileged as bright young girls are always around although my long time girlfriend now my wife studied in the then Presidency college and she used to come down after college hours once or twice a week and we used to have good food in AC canteen and spend time in lakeside of Metallurgical Engineering. It's a faded story now but I brushed up with this communication. Take care.😊

I was an Electrical Engineering student way back in 1980s beginning. But our main attraction was the then Bengal Lamp lemon tea with loaf butter toast with a little black peeper powder. Followed by AC canteen passing lazily through Arts Faculty. That time it had a small water body between Engg and Science-Arts block and connected by a wooden bridge. The central library didn't have today's Nandalal Bose conceptualised facade. The coffee house bitter coffee with soggy sandwich also we enjoyed those days near 8B bus stand. Anyway happened to see your review from Atlantic East.😊

Ju is good , but as a student of engineering the academic pressure is extreme .atleast next day our sem is coming to an end , thats a relief ❤

@@LazyPrettyAnonnaMy dear budding engineer. The pressure in Engineering study , classtest, sessional, semester exam is only 5% of the stress. The real stress you face at site as every problem you face is unique and the problems don't surface seeing your normal working hours 9-5 or 10-6. Past 34 years having worked in CCGT, I have observed that most of Turbine sync happens between night 2-3 am. Sometimes, we spend 3-4 days non stop at site to resolve the problems. Some of our technicians prepare egg curry, rice and buy long breads ( often called pain or bugget in French) and work non stop. So don't get upset. It's only the time to learn the job commitment. All the best.😊

@theultimate2345 No dear I'm from Electrical Engineering and our time teachers were terrors to all of us but we managed. It requires complete dedication, commitment and a huge sacrifice for all Bong sentiments e.g I hope past two decades I never could visit India rather Kolkata specifically during any of our festivals, if the CCGT develops even a minor problem like an LVDT malfunction, to detect, it might take a day. So you have to choose either a cushy 5 day or 24/7 real hard core. Choice is yours. Best of luck.

@LazyPrettyAnonna As I happened to work across different geographies around the globe, one thing I found very distinctively that our desi gals especially Bong girls are really great in many counts. Westerners are virtually dry, Arabians are non approachable due to their religious faith. South East Asian lot although few are at par but majority don't have the value system in right order. African black lots are really neglected by God, but they are very good at heart. Communication barrier is a major constraint. And North America lot are extremely crazy better to maintain safe distance. Desi girls are just 💯.
