@@boostinbo watching your videos makes me want to get out in the driveway and wrench on my 93! I made a few videos but haven’t in about 4 months had surgery and put a dampener on my plans lol I will get to it here soon I hope.
Which car? My car (black foxbody) was just a gen 3 block and crank with gen 4 rods and pistons, 862 heads, dual valve springs, big custom cam, china head studs, and gm performance LS1 mls gaskets.
Well you can’t find a coyote for 400 bucks like you can a 5.3 😂 can’t beat the LS for cost efficiency, can’t beat the coyote for massive horsepower production.
Watched the video, then came across this message, I drive by your shop multiple times a month to pick up my daughter in Republic. Great video just picked up same turbo.
Thanks! I haven't done any datalog videos but I bet some people would like that. I'll make one. I enjoy doing the Holley videos, I just didn't really know what all people would like.
@@boostinbo yea tough to tell sometimes, I bet most people here are like Matt happels crowd, numbers and info people. I’m curious on the timing and what that looks like to keep these motors alive at higher boost. I’ve tuned my car up to 22psi but kinda lost on what to do with spark 27psi range and up
Really depends on the combo and goals but I've had some decent luck with these motors for the most part. Just keep it safe through the danger zone and don't get greedy with timing. Learn how to read plugs. Best thing I ever started doing was reading plugs.
Yeah the dome sensor was reading 1lb offso it was trying to bleed off that 1lb that wasn't there. I did a -1 offset on the dome sensor and they don't do that anymore.
I was asking your line size an pumps so did you use your factory sending unit an drill for 2 pumps? I'm doing an 5.3 with cam an 80 mm t6 in a dirt drive way is why I ask I want to get it close first time an y'all cars do good
Impressive numbers man! Funny how you leaned on it more and the smoke cleared up haha
Lol I know. She just wanted to be beat on harder lol

Hell yeah! I understand if you physically hurting, it takes the fun out of it. I enjoy working on mine but I don't really get to much anymore.
Hey dyled in.... that's right down the road from me... and orp.. man this car must be in town lol
Its quality is as good as Precision and Garrett??
Nice, I have 2 of these I bought for a BBC build.
Cars did great that's big numbers
Thanks
I might have missed it skipping around - but is the motor all stock, except cam, springs and head studs?

@@boostinbo sorry, yeah thats the one I was asking about
Geesh .... apples to oranges but my gen 2 coyote makes 700 wheel on 8psi with 6r80 6spd auto. Ls takes some boost to make power..

Still pretty badass
94/108 is the turbo you have or the ball bearing one?
What radiator are you running on the first car?
You have MO plates. I’m from kcmo bd have a turbo 5.3 who are you getting tuned by.

Wow this is some sick info. Thanks for the video. Do you ever post datalogs anywhere? I love that shit lol
