Very nice, a little tlc, some clean up and you have your self a great rider again. I also picked up a really nice TREK930 all complete with good paint at the local recycler a few days ago and looks to have been shedded all it's life. It will get the same treatment too. Thx for upload.

Those parts were old, but in very good condition. Those chainrings, for example, lots of life left in them. I'd say it was a garage queen, stored for years inside, never really ridden but kept dry and out of the elements. The seatpost tells that story as well, in that it moved with some persuasion. Often they'll just stick in place with corrosion. Still, really nice result. Those old 920s are really sought after for basketpackers. Full fenders, front rack with a Wald 137 and a Swift Sugarloaf and you've got a perfect camper.
🙌🙌Thanks for Your comment. We are glad seatpost went out. This can be a real nightmare. We use heavy tools for this ⚒️ and little bit experience. Bike definitely worth to back to road. Fantastic super light daily bike 🚴🚴♂️take care easy Regards team @BARN2ROAD
Ive got one of these in my collection. Great bike. That one would have been rebuilt with considerably more grease on all the threads/ metal to metal parts in my world. Youll have a stuck seatpost again very shortly and it might not be so forgiving next time. Anyway, enjoy it.

Great stuff! If I may add (more like change) something; I wouldn't repaint the stem. I personally like red-bronze combo. Although if that were the case, I'd opt more neutral color cable housings (or just black). And also change the handlebar into an alt bar (or at least a wider flat/riser bar)

Cool Build! If you want to run it as a 1x you should get a narrow wide chainring which will prevent the chain from dropping
