Great work. If the top caps of that RST fork aren't seized, you might be able to restore it (if you think an RST elastomer fork is worth the effort!). The bike looks great anyway.
@@ef8725 🙏🙏Thank You so much🤝🤝Paint after polish looks really good 🙏🙏💪💪Seatpost stuck can be absolutely nightmare and easy finish project but this time we won 🙌🚴♂️🚴👍👌
A fantastic restoration job. It's a pity that the seatpost couldn't be saved, but when they get seized up, it's a real headache to remove them. In any case, I take my hat off to the restoration work on the chainrings. I didn't think they could turn out so well. An excellent choice of replacement components, they make the bike look magnificent. I would love to try one of your works someday, but I'm afraid I'm a bit far away! :D Ah, the Mountain Kings. I use those same tyres in my adventures in northern Spain. A reasonable balance between performance and cost. Congrats, and thanks for sharing! :)

@@BARN2ROAD, thank you very much for your kind words! Your videos show a passion for a job well done (doesn't matter if you're not pros, what counts is the love you show when working on the bikes) that's really awesome. I also do some amateur work on my bikes, which I often spend more time resto-modding than actually riding. :D Wow! A trip to the Costa del Sol! Although I now live mostly in northern Spain, I'm from Córdoba (very close to the Costa del Sol) and know the area really well! It's gonna be an amazing trip, I can't wait! I really enjoyed your Paris trip videos. By the way, depending on how you're planning to travel to the Costa del Sol (please tell me you're not flying into Gibraltar airport, that'd be too easy :D), please consider riding the Vía de la Plata. It crosses Spain from North to South through the western part using an ancient Roman road with lots of visible remains, and it goes through some of the most beautiful cities and landscapes in Spain. I rode it a few years ago with a bike and panniers, and it's one of the most incredible trips I've ever done. And the food is fantastic too! Wishing you all the best, happy holidays, and an awesome 2025! (P.S.: I previously wrote my comment with a secondary google account, just re-posting it again with my main one). :D

It has turned out a very nice bike. I can only give you two "buts". One, the length of the cables. I'm from the school of adjusting the length as much as possible (the less the better). The other but is putting the front brake on the right lever. I'm a classic in this respect: front brake, left lever; rear brake, right lever. Still, back to the beginning: a good looking bike.
