1:06 I believe TK was using some kind of pitch shifter pedal to achieve that "Star Wars blaster" sound effect right there. The other time I listened to another band doing a pretty identical stuff like that was an underground mathcore band Car Bomb in one of their songs "Dissect Yourself". It's a fun shit to do imo lol

It's always weird hearing reactors say Ling Tosite Sigure is like Sokoninaru lol, basically saying a band is similar to its cover band. it's like someone listening to Led Zeppelin and going "Oh these guy kinda sound like Greta Van Fleet" lol, I don't know why but I find it funny.
Btw, you need to react more to Ling Tosite Sigure, one of the best math alternative progy post-hardcore rock bands
It’s a strange thing when people discover artists before hearing their influences.
We already told Wave in livestreams when he reacted to Sokoninaru and TK’s solo work that Sokoninaru were influenced by Ling Tosite Sigure. He just might have forgotten since he did more reactions to Sokoninaru.
And it’s no fair to describe Sokoninaru just as a LTS cover band. They have their distinctive sound now that is immediately recognizable.
@@2abugI agree. Sokoninaru started by covering LTS songs but they forged their own path a very long time ago. No reason we can't appreciate both bands. Still, I'd love to hear LTS have a go at covering Tenohira de Odoru, for example.
