One of the most suble and under appreciated demonstrations of spiritual maturity is being so rooted in service and so not consumed in yourself that you're genuinely happy for other people's joy. The real benchmark of maturity is "I live of service and everday I want to be a part of everyone's joy." Be happy for other people's happiness. I've paraphrased...but I love that part of the video....somewhere around 43 minutes.

I love the part in this talk about a life of service. After my NDE, I was told to work as a teacher. After a few years of teaching, I realized that no matter how I felt that day (fairly good to miserably depressed)...in the moment of helping my students and being there for them I felt joyous and free. I felt the divine working through me no matter what I was going through in my own life, no matter how I felt that day. You are RIGHT ON Matt Kahn! Now, I am working to be of service in other areas of my life besides my career. Your talk has helped me continue to integrate service into my life outside of my career.:-) Thank you.
