Not really, it has been in kpop to distinguish between the members. But i do see blonde highlights nowadays. Usually its just flat colours with no dimension whatsoever
"Noise" music is "noise" for a reason. It's supposed to be very loud for hyping up its listeners and open up their energetic side. Definitely shouldn't be in this list.
"Worst and the worst trend of this year, noise music" Without noise music, K-pop would have been nothing to me. Though I respect your opinions, I don’t like people calling noise music "worse". I LUV stray kids' music. Their discography is insane and no one can deny that. If so, check out the song "Happy Death Day" by Xdinary Heroes, a JYP boy group. That song is really... I guess... Iconic. Now, people have different tastes towards music, IK that. I would like to state that opinions should be treated like opinions, so please don't throw hates on either her or me, all of us have specific opinions. But personally, the noise music one being called "worst trend" really hit me bad, but, it's okay. Even much members of my place don't like them that much. Note: I respect your reviews, but Stray Kids always come up with something new each time they bring out an mv. Their discography differ vastly from each mv of them.
Skz "noise music" is not a trend but the type of music they make. You don't have to like it but I am done with seeing people bash them over the music THEY PRODUCE THEMSELVES. Just don't listen to it if you don't like it that much. :/
I don't think the mullet trend was the worst cuz ofc our kpop idols pull them off so well 😭💜Like they look amazing... And even the "noise music" SKZ does it right and I do enjoy it
Exactly if someone can do it right it's not a trend it becomes part of their style. Not all grps can pull off such genres, those who can't just do it for 2 or 3 eras and leave it, cuz they think audience will accept any kind of noise pop track, when in reality the fans of such genre also listen to certain grps only when it comes to noise music. And for such grps for whole noise music is not why they are know for, it becomes a trend for them only..not anyone else. Plus a music genre in itself can never be a trend...she should hv just put this point in an opinion video instead of a trends one
Ngl, I absolutely loved the rainbow hair, it was really adorable. The dabbing and excessive autotune I blocked out from my memory - I know autotune was the style at the time, but it was everywhere in 2008-2011. I'm surprised you didn't talk about everybody trying to sound like Migos - I listened to Momoland's "BAAM" recently and the rap verses instantly made me cringe.
Ateez always nails it when it comes to trends, like rainbow color hair, Yunho and Hongjoong nailed that trend, the color was matching with there style. Mullet, Hongjoong, Yeosang and San and Mingi nailed that trend. Whenever they do, they always nailed the trend.
YES! but the way she called it "Noise music" and reffered to it as a fork being shoved into a garbage disposal is straight up disrespectful. Also she probably only heard of one SKZ song and called every SKZ song "Noise music" they even have a whole album called "NoEasy" which is also worded as "Noisy"..... ISTG people always say the most stupidest things even though they have no idea about music🤓🤓
Okayy!!! I agree with you on the rest,it is kinda/is cringe but the so-called "noise music" is called EDM... please search it up. ( Not in a rude way) It is the type of music made by Stray kids, ateez, nct and some others. It is not a trend.
Plus it's not noise, it's called organised chaos music, certain edm genres, rock, metal, mixed genres, etc hv this kind of structure. Not everyone can pull it off, plus this is not supposed to be a negative point, such kind of music making and performing Is not possible to execute easily by everyone, this kind of music making deserves to be praised, if its not one person's taste that doesn't make it a worst trend, it's all a preference thing, infact it is not a trend atall, it has just always existed! And there are plenty of fans of it, so I see no problem. Plus only grps who are actually known for their hard hitting music are the ones for whom it's like a part of their identity, unlike others who do it for 1 or 2 eras and then drop it, for them it's a trend. It's not their style of music or music they as a grp would like to perform. So the diff lies in who can pull it off better and make it stand out from others.
There’s a new trend in korea in general where they try to stand out/enhance their unique features to be distinguishable. That’s good imo but some companies really do be assigning idols with quirky personalities and it hurts to watch they try so hard sometimes 💀
she talks about noise music and puts a stray kids image while she’s saying it, im sorry but what? i really hope you are not saying that stray kids songs are noise music, those “noise music” are real music styles and u can search it on the internet, its not that hard, but ANYWAYS 😃
It's called EDM not 'noise music'🙄 if you don't like it you could just have said it politely but calling it noise music was a little too much not trying to sound rude :p
I can't get over the fact that people still say having a particular hairstyle is cultural appropriation. Like please, I thought that people wanted "world peace" and "world unity" how is that possible if we can't even braid our hair without getting canceled!
They hv some of the most diverse music, their music never sounds the same, wut would they change huh? Their genre is "organised chaos" if u don't enjoy it leave it alone don't talk abt it. Don't ask them to change smth that literally forms a part of their identity, there are plenty of fans of their music, it's not a trend.
@@Librarian2406 I was saying that while she was saying kpop idols should start changing their music she put a picture of straykids like if she was tying to say that straykids have the same sound in every music and that's what makes me mad
its called EDM not noise music. and its not a trend its actually a whole selection of music. mostly clubbing and raves which .. is practically my favorite form of music.
i disagree with the noise music and u putting skz in the end makes it seem like u want them to change....wth...skz aren't following trends thats just how their music sound...straykids r the genre themselves. everyone makes different music and so does skz....
I am a bit conflicted with EDM (or noise music as people call it), I really like EDM but it seems like almost every 4th gen boy group is making EDM music I can't tell anyone apart anymore ESPECIALLY WHEN I WATCH MUSIC SHOWS T-T.
Almost all of 2nd gen is edm too....it isnt a trend first of all, music genres can't be termed trends, and she should hv included this point in an opinions vid, not a trend vid. Second not all boygroups do edm the right way, there is a reason some groups make their edm music stand out from the other, and for such grps it has been a part of their identities since the beginning. But grps who can't make their music stand out among the other edm, alternate rock etc(yes edm only has some genres which are noisy, and it isn't the only thing that's noisy, some edm songs arnt noisy atall) for such grps its a trend they do for 1 or 2 eras and leave behind, they are not passionate abt it nor does it become a part of their identity. The audience that likes such genres also regards only some grps as cable of handling this genre.
It ain't a trend. Not everyone can pull of such genre in a way that would stick with others. Only some grps were able to execute it so well that it became a part of their identity, and for others who couldn't, it became a trend that they did for 1 or two eras and then left behind. So noise music ain't a trend in itself, its smth that has always existed.
So basically you made this video calling it the worst trends but it’s just your opinion in the end and you’re bashing skz at the end, you csn just say it’s not the type of music you like that’s fine. It’s not a trend, they’ve been making music since predebut and it’s their own style, a trend is something that is popular and used a lot for a period, while skz has always been doing their own thing and will keep doing it in their own way. I’m sorry if i sound rude but it totally came off as if you just bashing them for their music, we’re all so tired of hearing this already..
"noise music" Shows some of my favourite songs "they better come up with some new stuff cause every trend has its limits" More od my favourite music. What you call "noise" I call the best new music within K-pop since like 2016 😂😂 Yes it's better when it's produced well, and some producers might overdo it (as with all trends), but all the examples you implied are well produced, well thought out songs imho. And I hope to hear many more of them ^_^
sorry but i agreed with you until I see the "trend" with noise songs by putting skz, it disappoints me because stray kids make music and not noise. It's their style not a trend and it's really boring to hear that, it's make me so mad just at this point.
• Gods! I'm so glad autotune isn't heavily used anymore. We had to know the idols' true voices through live stages back then. • Sunny's, Hyoyeon's and Dara's hairstyles used to be the scariest amongst girl group idols. And my ult group is SNSD (ult bias being Hyoyeon)... • The ds break... I'm on the fence with that one. Like... It really depended on the song. It made some of them really iconic and others really cringy. • Ah, IU's diet... To be young and impressionable. I followed it for months until I fainted so often I had to be taken to the ER after one particular dance practice... I still face compulsive eating because of that time. • I loved the rainbow hair. But when it became overused it was just a no. • The gradient lips... Ah... It came from way before K-pop started to become famous worldwide. But boy did it become a trend. I think it has its merits, but not so many to become such a huge trend as it did. • The fancam under tweet is still a thing.
Wait if you don't like mullet thing idk from which planet you are from I'm sorry I'm not being rude but this is the bestest trend ever baekhyun Taehyung taeyong hongjoong everyone looking freaking handsome i wish this trend came back one of my favorite trend ever
Like im literally done I thought this channel wasn't bias but it clearly is, "oh u love skz so much and their achievements" yet would bash them because they produce "noise music" and not just skz other groups as well. U know it's rlly simply u dont like it dont Stan them don't listen to their music then, don't even think about talking about them if ur going to say u don't even like the style of music they produce and put their effort into making
OMG I thought I was the only one who realized this💔💔 After I saw what they mentioned or even *hinted* about Ateez and StrayKidz I immediately unsubscribed cause it hurts seeing someone dismiss someone else's hard work and just call it noise☹
Noise music or whatever term these kpop stans hv come up with, they should know that, them considering smth noise doesn't make it noise for the rest of the world too, there are plenty of fans of such music and if u can't appreciate it don't talk abt it. And it wasn't a trend, it's literally a genre that always existed. And skz is literally soooo diverse how can ppl even put them in this noise music or whatever they call it, box? And I also don't understand why noise music (we should really just stop calling this "noise" music, it's music but a different style, it's "organised chaos" kind of music, it's a concept a lot of kpop grps hv, it's not a trend!) Is a bad thing...Is having a more hard hitting sound a depreciative quality? Plus grps who make this type of music generally hv a very well organised form of arranging this kind of music, they always make sure it's accompanied with varied genres songs aswell...plus making such music is also a talent! Not everyone can pull of such unconventional genre of music, respect to all those grps who hv taken risks with such musical genres. And as far as skz, nct, ateez etc grps are concerned they literally revolve around the motive of change and experimentation, its a concept, they are free to do it, and just becuz a few ppl don't hv 5hat taste doesn't mean it was a worst trend, infact this isn't a trend atall! Thank u
One trend I wasn't really into is the disco trend. The disco themed songs that came out before Dynamite were good, but after Dynamite came out, producers were busy with it. I like a bunch of them but I really wish that some companies kept with their groups theme and concept rather than just making them go out of their groups theme just because a huge group did it. Some group comebacks felt rushed even though they have been on hiatus just to give a song that didn't deliver.
noise music isn't a trend lmao, its literally a genre of music that all groups would want to try. yes its not for everyone but there's a large amount of people (like me) that actually likes it. and using skz as an example of a group that "followed the trend" is extremely wrong bc that's literally the type of music they make. also all the songs that I've heard complain about and say are noise music doesn't sound the same at all lol
As a shawol, I STILL cringe at all the autotune in SHINee's Ring Ding Dong. I mean, who seriously thought that Jonghyun or Onew (or any of them) needed that distortion in order to sound better. BTW, T-Pain was the winner of the first season of the USA's Masked Singer. That boy can SING and shut down all those who said he couldn't without autotune.
Bruh. When u said i will never forgive sehun and hyoyeon for this..Do you know that they have hair stylists and that they themselves cant decide anything when it comes to their looks.

fr this whole video is kinda misleading...but some are true tho
I feel like having Blonde hair is a trend now... Like literally at least one member would have it...
Not really, it has been in kpop to distinguish between the members. But i do see blonde highlights nowadays. Usually its just flat colours with no dimension whatsoever
Bright red has been popular recently too.
Yup... It's not common to see queen Jisoo in hair change.. So I really liked it ..
Waiting for snow drop .. ✨
It's been a "trend" for at least 10 years or more though.
It’s just a natural hair color how is it a trend 😂
9:14 Girl, that's what skz music is and that's their style their recent album is literally name NOEASY with a hidden noisy in it
Sunny's colorful curly bob still look good though.
The mullet hairstyle, but y'all are not ready for that conversation yet
Everywhere I look.... I see mullets
EDM ≠ Noise Music
Keep on talking, we don't play by the rules. 😏
"Noise" music is "noise" for a reason. It's supposed to be very loud for hyping up its listeners and open up their energetic side. Definitely shouldn't be in this list.
Tbh there are a lot of great Big Bang and 2NE1 songs that I wish would be re-released without the T-Pain robot-voice autoturne.
Well... That was the trend at that time
That's why I prefer live performance
but some songs autotune perfection, like "Follow Me". Chefs kiss
@Nina Young Yes agree. It hides their vocal capabilities! I still love them though...
I bet future kpop fans probably going to say the same with some kpop idols of today using the triplet flows in their songs 🤣
"Worst and the worst trend of this year, noise music"
Without noise music, K-pop would have been nothing to me.
To be honest sunny's multiple hair colour was the main reason why I loved her ❤
Noise music isn't a trend and neither is skz going to change that and tbh that's EDM. Thank you, next.
I dont even know what to think of this video. 🤣 The nit-picking is astronomical.
Correct
Ateez always nails it when it comes to trends, like rainbow color hair, Yunho and Hongjoong nailed that trend, the color was matching with there style. Mullet, Hongjoong, Yeosang and San and Mingi nailed that trend.
Whenever they do, they always nailed the trend.

Ikr and Sorn
I love so many of these trends, especially noise music😭 it's so good for my brain
YEP! i agree
YES! but the way she called it "Noise music" and reffered to it as a fork being shoved into a garbage disposal is straight up disrespectful. Also she probably only heard of one SKZ song and called every SKZ song "Noise music" they even have a whole album called "NoEasy" which is also worded as "Noisy"..... ISTG people always say the most stupidest things even though they have no idea about music🤓🤓
sunny's curly bob was the absolute cutest thing ive ever seen in kpop and i still love it.
U know she just starts fan wars right😂
Noise music is so fking good and its more nice when your upset hahahah anyways stan skz
I don't mind they using those hairstyles but bruh- let's be honest, San E. looked pretty horrible on dread locks lmao
Honestly gd and taeyang look alright in that kind of style
@@brennathecatlover4360 umm nooo
you can't say that everything sounds the same just because you don't like noise music lol
No matter what the color, Sunny's bob cut was the cutest thing EVAR! I might be a bit biased though.
It's called EDM not 'noise music'🙄
if you don't like it you could just have said it politely but calling it noise music was a little too much
not trying to sound rude :p
THIS.
@@gloriouskz hello our dear curtain
Yep I don’t get why they have to keep saying ‘noise music’ its pretty rude. And whats so wrong with EDM anyway… :/
@you are my precious one thunderous, domino, silent cry, back door and god's menu

The worse is colorism and culture appropriation ☠️
Definitely 💯
They literally named their album noeasy to make fun of ppl that call their music noise like you just did ㅠㅠ....
nah nah girl back tf off hongjoong literally is my favorite one that suits the mullet cut🤨🧍🏽♀️
on the noise music one...its not a trend for groups like skz nct or atz..its their identity its their concept so its not a trend for them
The amount of disrespect is...wow
I can't get over the fact that people still say having a particular hairstyle is cultural appropriation. Like please, I thought that people wanted "world peace" and "world unity" how is that possible if we can't even braid our hair without getting canceled!
I hate how she put straykids at the end when she said that they have to start changing the sounds of the music likeeeeee
@@Librarian2406 bro I think you didn't get I clear reread the comment also I am a stay ok I even have straykids merch
@@Librarian2406 I was saying that while she was saying kpop idols should start changing their music she put a picture of straykids like if she was tying to say that straykids have the same sound in every music and that's what makes me mad
@@arii5016 I am agreeing with u, I was talking abt the creator
@@Librarian2406 ok sorry for the miss understanding 😅😊
its called EDM not noise music. and its not a trend its actually a whole selection of music. mostly clubbing and raves which .. is practically my favorite form of music.
Please elaborate on "Noise Music"
i disagree with the noise music and u putting skz in the end makes it seem like u want them to change....wth...skz aren't following trends thats just how their music sound...straykids r the genre themselves. everyone makes different music and so does skz....
Felix lee is SOOOO addicted to tiktok that in skz’s video he did the whale (idk what you call it) dance and renegade aaaaaa :0!!!
But I really like the noise music TT
It's just perspective. I mean I liked the rainbow and the shorts over pants trend
"noise music"
Shows some of my favourite songs
"they better come up with some new stuff cause every trend has its limits"
More od my favourite music.
What you call "noise" I call the best new music within K-pop since like 2016 😂😂
Yes it's better when it's produced well, and some producers might overdo it (as with all trends), but all the examples you implied are well produced, well thought out songs imho. And I hope to hear many more of them ^_^
Stray kids produced “noise music” before it was a “trend”
I busted out laughing at the "randomized sims outfits" 😭☠️ it's so true and sad but amazingly put at the same time🤣
sorry but i agreed with you until I see the "trend" with noise songs by putting skz, it disappoints me because stray kids make music and not noise. It's their style not a trend and it's really boring to hear that, it's make me so mad just at this point.
Bro ikr plus stray kids makes there own music, unlike most of the kpop world. She was so wrong for that
Back than k pop idols had worse hairstyle thank god its not in this era
GIRL- when you said noise music sounded like the producers just put a fork in the garbage disposal and called it a day ksjsskksja i lost it
Um...Sunnys bright hair is iconic, half of these trends are so iconic.
Ok but noise music isn't that bad 😭✋
Wait if you don't like mullet thing idk from which planet you are from I'm sorry I'm not being rude but this is the bestest trend ever baekhyun Taehyung taeyong hongjoong everyone looking freaking handsome i wish this trend came back one of my favorite trend ever
i hope noise music doesn’t go away cuz most things labeled as noise music go hard as fuck
OMG I thought I was the only one who realized this💔💔
After I saw what they mentioned or even *hinted* about Ateez and StrayKidz I immediately unsubscribed cause it hurts seeing someone dismiss someone else's hard work and just call it noise☹
@@heavenlymars1839 lol noisy album is meant for ppl like this...

One that should've been included is the recent overuse of the word "ayyy" it is almost in every song
when you said kitchen scissors i immediately thought “WWG JIN”
I don’t trust your taste! All these looks were iconic during their time 🙄
As a shawol, I STILL cringe at all the autotune in SHINee's Ring Ding Dong. I mean, who seriously thought that Jonghyun or Onew (or any of them) needed that distortion in order to sound better. BTW, T-Pain was the winner of the first season of the USA's Masked Singer. That boy can SING and shut down all those who said he couldn't without autotune.
I think the worst trend was the mini skirts and short dresses on female idols, like seriously. Get a grip
