There is going to be some of drivers that don’t know where windshield washer and the engine brake if you would show that in a video. Thanks guys your doing an awesome job.
Kody Vongprachanh The mount came with our truck and we get our internet from the hotspot on our phones so all we have to do is connect the tv to our hotspot and we can use Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Sorry don’t mean to be rude but no they don’t all come with 2 bunks my neighbor drives the veterans one it has a fridge freezer microwave TV and a cozy bed and the fridge and freezer are separate where your top bunk would be is where in the veterans truck is where the freezer would be
Dont know how you guys do it. I worked for arrow and quit 4 months befor they closed their doors. Now I'm driving for a small flatbed company out of Indiana and they treat us like family. Great pay and great equipment. Driving a brand new 2019 579 Pete fully loaded with a 565hp paccar and 13 speed. Our trucks run 75 PMH and geared for heavy hauling. We get paid 30% of what the truck makes every week or .60cpm which ever is higher is what you get. These guys dont screw you around. I bring home between $900 to $1400 a week last week with did good bringing home almost $1,900.00 and were home every weekend
Good video and it looks like you can get that " Being at home" feeling having the TV on even if ur not watching it. The inside really looks comfortable and clean, be safe out there. Btw which part of the country do you mostly make ur pickups and deliveries to? Northeast, Southeast, or out west.
doglegright Chains are required on trucks by law at certain times of the year in certain states but Melton's policy states that if chains are required, it's too dangerous to drive, therefore, we dont use chains.
No a 1500 watt inverter will not run Refrigerator PlayStation and microwave all the same time there's no way you're the kind of jackasses that blow inverter fuses and make a mechanic stop doing what he's doing so he can put a fuse in your truck and for all you new drivers making sure your inverter is off before you start your truck has nothing to do with blowing the fuse it's running too much shit like a microwave or refrigerator and a PlayStation and the biggest microwave you can put in a truck with a 1500 watt inverter is a 700 watt microwave I've been working on trucks longer than you probably been driving truck

I thoght I was watching my long lost twim brother for a second.... I want to do flatbed but I get nervous about all the securement stuff tbh😊
What year is your truck
I'm interested in being a trucker? Can you give me some basic information on how to start this career.
Do you get to choose between an automatic or manual
Is there any way you can get WiFi like if you wanted to play online with your PlayStation?
What are the specs of the truck? WB? Ratio? Engine? HP? Trq? Thank you
So if you know nothing with numbers. It will be hard to plan or check weight
Great video, thank you! Does Melton have APU's in the trucks? Is there even room for it with the head rack and everything? Thanx
Cool, be safe out there guys.
Hi, I did not see the switch to release kingpin to disconnect trailer. Do you have to do it manually? Your videos are very helpful. Thanks
Do that have automatic transmission
Ours is a manual transmission but Melton is converting to a fully automatic fleet.
TruckWithUs 24/7 A fully automatic assault truck?
@@truckwithus2477 do they still have manuals that a new driver could choose over auto tho?
Did you do orientation in Alabama?
Yes.
@@truckwithus2477 what hotel were yall in? Trying to do a little research?
@@bigsnow1705 it was a holiday inn in Birmingham but they have since changed the hotel location.
TruckWithUs 24/7 ok thanks
Are ya'll pretty much running on the weekends or do you always do your reset in whatever city your in?
Hello, still doing videos?
Great Vid, I’m heading to Tulsa on the 26th for orientation
Sorry if you've addressed this somewhere else, but are most of their trucks manual?
Most trucks now are automatics. But manuals are still in the fleet. 🙂
Nice
I’m leaving US xpress for Melton in a few weeks
Awesome! Wishing you a smooth transition. Let us know how everything goes! Good luck!
Do you Recommend Us xpress for someone with no OTR experience
Charles Ashcraft nope. They were screwing me over. Come to Melton you’ll get OTR experience
George Martinez I’m only 16 but I’ll keep that in mind
George Martinez I’ve also thought about butler transport
So do you still like Melton?
Heading back to Melton after I got my hernias fixed. Hoping this time around will be smoother the. The first time.
Did you have to buy the mount? How are you able to watch tv or the roku?
Kody Vongprachanh The mount came with our truck and we get our internet from the hotspot on our phones so all we have to do is connect the tv to our hotspot and we can use Netflix, Hulu, etc.
is this a automatic or manual truck?
Manual.

I mean I been really thinking of going to Melton but I heard that you have to Tarp everything. So I'm still thinking..I dont know
I heard the new trucks are not being equipped with APU’s, is that true?
Tony Huggins yes, that’s true. They have optimized idle. We had one of these with J.B Hunt and it wasn’t bad.
I can’t wait join the family
Awesome! When do you start? 🙂

Cool I'm trying to get hired on
Every single time I've had to put snow chains on it wasn't an option and there was no witting it out. xD

Do you guys have to pay for the sxm?
Where were you guys at, when you made the video?
Lonnie Smithee hey, I think you do have to pay for it. And we were in Winchester, VA at a Flying J.

As soon as i heard you say its to dangerous to drive when you have to chain i realized you were a junior!

Ok that makes sense sorry for the misunderstanding!
No worries. Just want everyone aware of the company policies.
