Your pricing is still on the light side. This is a solid $5500 to $6000 job. Your not far off, but you also dont want to price yourself out of business either. Keep up the good work!
Appreciate the comment thank you for your advice I will definitely take this into account but I think you are right but the customer only had a certain budget and I didn’t want to lose a job over a couple hundred bucks.
Getting a wheel tape to line out the yardage or space, that would help. 4k seems like a lot but in reality it is not. You are correct in that there are hidden costs to complete the job. Most dont care or even think about it. I you end up getting commercial insurance then you are going to get pounded. No one understands that and it is a business killer. Very good video....nice work.
I have a wheel tape but I’m not going to wheel tape 2 acres not worth my time I just charge accordingly even if it might be a little bit over 2 acres
Definitely show this job on the channel! Thanks for the content Davis!
Will do!

Appreciate your videos! Definitely going to help me (just starting out) with bidding brush cutting jobs in South Florida. You should look into adding a door to finish enclosing your cab and add a 12 volt air conditioner.. here’s a link showing how i did mine all in for right around $1500
Yeah send me that link at my email I need that badly for protection

Just sent the link
Love the comment you made about God and love what you are doing! Thank you for sharing this type of content.
Thank you for your support!
Bro I counted 10 piles on that one side most them loads are 20 -21 tons of material, unless it was a tandem truck but they looked like a tri-axle loads that’s easily 200tons in what I saw!
More videos bro you inspire me
Thank you I will start making more videos
I’m watching and getting caught up bro
More to come soon as well!
Im thinking $5500-$6000 too. 100 miles from home is a lot to expect from him. $4100 for a local job, sure but with the driving, charge more to cover. Would love to see the job done too.
Yes, keep God first but charge proper for your time
Trust me the 4100 was maxing out this guys budget and he barely wanted to do that but I do think that you are right 5500-6000 is where I should be at but I will still be profitable with good net at 4100
@@EntreprenuerDavis right on, then. Glad you came out feeling good about it
Looks like it will be a fun job
Yeah I can’t wait to do this job.
Hey ..nice UD tshirt
That’s where I played college football at lol
Deion, I really love your videos, you are helping to reignite my fire to start a business. I recently bought about 1.5 acres and been clearing it with a chainsaw and brushhog, down to a lot of little stumps now. Any advice? My uncle has a skid steer and I thought about using it to "grade" the stumps out as individually with a grinder will take forever.
Honestly they make stump grinders for skid steer so maybe you can see if your local rental place will rent you the attachment for the skid to grind them down then you can add dirt on top so the stump can actually be complete gone. But if you can’t find a stump grinder then I would suggest you figure out a way to remove those stumps because they’re going to be in the way.
Hey man I just starting out with my business just would like some tips on how you acquire your customers? Any help would be appreciated
Great informative video brother! Love it! I am a subscriber. Two questions though, do you offer your customers any kind of gaurantee, money back, discounts etc.. in the event you cant complete a job fully in order to give them peace of mind on why they should pay you and not the next guy? Also, can you tell us how or where one would go to find these jobs, or do they call you? And never forget everyone reading.... Praise Jesus of Nazareth!
Thank you 🙏🏾 All Glory to our lord!
Hey Davis,
Hope all is well. I am trying to relocate to the Sarasota area and was wondering if you ever had work in that area?
I sometimes work in that area
@@EntreprenuerDavis what business insurance would you recommend also do you need a GC licsense for most of these jobs?
@@EntreprenuerDavis what business insurance would you recommend also do you need a GC license for most of these jobs?
Do you have a transfer tank on your truck?
No because that would add unwanted extra weight to my truck.
Maybe you should have gotten a cab. Thats expensive for a couple of days.
Yeah I regret not getting one but I seen the price tag but on the excavator I have a tab with AC and heat and a radio
@@EntreprenuerDavis
It makes a big difference on a long days work in the heat. But more for your safety with mulching stuff.
I am sure you will upgrade eventually with all that easy money you're making 🙂
Do you rent out your dump trailer
I’ve done it in the past it’s a great side hustle but not my main bread and butter.
So did the guy accept the bid? You said semi parking so that means durka.
Yeah he did
With your skill 5 to 6 k easy
You’re probably right but gotta work with your customer as well so you don’t lose a job.
