So people know: giraffe eats tree, so tree safe. Not why that specific tree is part of their diet and others aren't, etc. "why would a giraffe live on the grasslands and not in the forests if it eats trees?" But also, people do not like to be corrected. If they ask you a question, they are willing to learn. If they make a statement you have to agree, or they shut down. Especially when you have to correct people on something they physically did. Because that means that they didn't just not understand a certain concept, it means they have been doing something wrong. I finally realized when I had worked out and lost 20lbs over a few months and was doing great, then a guy followed me home in his car trying to talk to me and refusing to leave me alone. I finally realized when I had worked out and lost 20lbs over a few months and was doing great, then a guy followed me home in his car trying to talk to me and refusing to leave me alone.
