Who cares if some car videos don't get the views like others do. I just appreciate the variety of vehicles, that you buy and fix up. That's what got your channel on the map. Never stray away from what got you to where you are at now.

RUclips's algorithm does, sadly. Videos being successful/frequent have a significant effect on how people's content gets promoted. That's why a lot of RUclipsrs have strict upload schedules and clickbait titles: it affects their income.

It's not a different bolt pattern, I think it's just a different offset. 5x114.3 is the bolt pattern for most panther platform cars.

I think that Crown Vic is cool! Other than the window regulator and floppy door panel on the driver's side door, the interior is in great shape. It will clean up nice! I can't believe the front seats weren't shredded and the dash wasn't all cracked up. They're almost mint!
Get some stock wheels and tires with center caps on it, and it will be sweet.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you cruise this car. I'm really enjoying this content. Well done!

The wheels changed offset in 03. They went from zero offset to 50mm offset. The wheels will fit with spacers (1.5 or 2 inch). 5 x 4.5 inch bolt pattern, 76mm center hub hole. 1/2 x 20 stud threads.

Those goofy wheels on the police Vic are growing on me. The low profile rubber band tires aren’t. Bumping them up to a 55 or 60 series tire would look much better. Then make the a double skinny white, red or blue white wall strip to go with what ever color you decide to put with it on the body. Or use a raised white letter sidewall. I love the rectangular tail pipes. And the upholstery on those seats looks great. I really like their texture and color.

Wheel offset changed in 2004 to accommodate the newer strut suspension upgrade from Ford, bolt patterns are the same, offset of the wheels are significantly different.

    Well two things,
    1) Those steel wheels won’t fit the Vic without wheel spacers because the offset is different from 98-02 vs 03-05 it will hit the upper control arm at the ball joints.
    2) RIP to those coil packs if they got wet when you washed under the hood. I made that mistake once and had to replace them all after the car started to misfire.
But I enjoy your videos I look forward to seeing how you do the fuel pump as I have a 99 that needs a fuel pump as well.

Lol finally I have a really soft spot in my heart for crown Victorias and the police car additions have always been my favorite. Other than that I also have a deep love for box bodies but I’ve been waiting for you to get into this video bro, I can’t wait to see, let’s go wow! It looks so much better. Great job Randy! Great job! Unfortunately, since it's a 98, those 2005s will not work on there. It's a different lug pattern so those are not going to work. But another solid video. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to hear it running man. Something about hearing those crown Victoria's run. They sound so good. Have a good one. I'll catch you in the next one.

  • @Thereal50inchDLP

Great car. Make sure all the plug wells are dry. If wet your intake is bad. If you need an intake put a PI intake with a aluminum crossover. Tons of write ups online how to do it. Very easy and pick up a few HP. Also check your pass side frame around the front control arm area. They rust out there from ac condenser dripping. Your rims won't fit because of the offset is different on the 98-02 cars. You can run there with I believe 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers. I do this on my 99 grand marquis been 70k miles and no trouble. Any questions just ask.

Great Video Randy! I believe the Crown Vic wheels were the same from 98-2002 and changed in 2003. I believe in 2006 they went from a 16” wheel to a 17” wheel. I’m not sure if those wheels off the Crown Vic will be the same wheel pattern as the 08 Mustang.

Hey tip from a sho guy
Check the water pump and make sure it's been changed after 70,000 miles because they will weep into the crank case and spin the rod bearings it's about 1,800 for a professional shop with all the correct tools to do it
Plus I would Honestly say you should keep that Vic for yourself as you got it for nothing plus it's extremely clean and the shape of the car has no rust no body damage and all it needs is a detail plus the one you have is the P71 so it's the 250 hp V8 and possibly has a posi and 3.73 never know when you'll need a good solid car that's dependable and reliable
I can see it in your mind you really wanna keep Vicky
