I gave my heart to Jesus months after I had my son and the one thing that I’ve always put over everything before god was my family my husband and my son. Begin a mom of my first son came with a lot of commitments not only to my son but to my husband also and I focus my life around them and meeting their every need and on top of it working to provide for our home(I still do my husband is the head of our house hold I have to raise my son in the lord as he commands us) but I never found time to give to the lord in my every day. And once I came to accept god into my heart I knew and wanted so much in my life to also have time for him in my life since is he’s a great part in my life now and forever. One of the first things my husband and my father in law did was hold me giving time to my god that I was not dedicating or was abandoning my family when I have never been absent I just dedicate a couple of hours a day to do my bible study know my gods word. I know now that satan used that against me he knows family is important to me and was trying to discourage me In gods way. My husband is a nonbeliever still I continue to pray for him I have faith that the lord will work in him like he did in me❤️ it still feels as a sacrifice of time because I still find time to delight in gods word no matter how tired I am of work and begin a mother and wife and I will continue with gods word and power he gives us . I wanted to thank all that make it possible for these studies to be on here for us to learn from may god bless you all and your families ❤️.

Hang in there~ God is faithful and He hears your prayers for your husband. It took three years but God answered my prayers and my wife gave her life to the Lord. God hears your prayers! He will answer your prayers~

oh I just love these Bible studies. God has used you to open my eyes to prayer and how I should be living. My husband will ask me what he should do in a certain situation and I now respond to him and say I don't know but let's pray and ask God. If I told you how God has answered us and how he has blessed us you would believe me but other would not.

Pastor Paul. I'm also a Pastor and I've admired your teachings for some time now. So I decided to start in Genesis and today I'm finishing 2nd Samuel. It has blessed my teachings as well as my walk with God and my understanding of his word and I'm truly thankful

This study of King David was such a lesson of how we all do wrong and still God has such mercy for the ones who truly repent and turn away from disobedience. Again, I am so thankful for the knowledge you share with us. On my own, this would be so hard for me to understand. God has made a way for us to know what is truly happening in the Old Testament. I have been able to discuss these stories with others who are trying to read through the bible with out this knowledge. They say, "I don't understand why this happened." I can now add to what they have read and help them not be confused.

It's even more simple and plain than that...I don't go fight battles everyday
Well, not against people. My battles are with a broken arthritic body. I live alone and at 80 I still do laundry food shopping cooking cleaning... but it's not me
Not one bit ever is it me.
The Lord gives me whatever I need to be able to live on my own and I am so grateful
My energy though limited is from Him
Thank you Lord God for everything especially for You. Amen

I have been reading that passage in Hosea over and over again and can't seem to find anything thing about a Christ and David returning to reign for a thousand years. But in the context of the story, which is the children of Israel was turned to other God like Hosea wife turned to other men, based on that it's saying that Israel will return from that state of mind and seek the Lord. And. Like you rightly said that David son is synonymous with Messiah, it also says in the Bible that Christ will sit in the throne of David now when that is used in Hosea it's not talking about David literally but the type, which is Christ, so it's not David that they are seeking but with the heart of David and what he sought for.

Hi Mark. You said, "I have been reading that passage in Hosea over and over again and can't seem to find anything thing about a Christ and David returning to reign for a thousand years." Christ is the only One who will "return" and it is He and He alone who will reign supremely during the Millennial Kingdom. However, as we are told in many other passages of Scripture, the Saints will reign with Christ during that time (albeit not in the same way that Christ is reigning). For example, Matthew 19:28 Jesus foretells how His closest disciples will reign along with Him, although their reign will be limited to Israel. What I said in this message is that there is REASON TO BELIEVE that David will also function in some kind of position of rulership in Israel during the Millennial Kingdom based on various prophetic passages in the Bible, one of which is Hosea 3:5. I'm aware that some believers interpret every prophetic reference to "David" as referring to the Messiah who is of David's lineage. I respect that interpretation, but I also believe there is reason to consider those prophecies as speaking LITERALLY of David. Thanks for writing. Pastor Paul

2 Samuel 5:4-5 says he was 30 yrs old when he began to reign and 1 kings 2:10-12 says he died after he had reigned 40 years.
