- Iceland is a Nordic island country in the North Atlantic Ocean and the most sparsely populated country in Europe. When we say sparsely populated country we are talking of a population of around 350 000. I had the privilege to visit and help at the youth event that took place in Akureyri and get to know these amazing people. Please keep them all in your prayers as we have quite a small church on this beautiful island. Thank you for watching and God bless.

Hello Pastor, a group of SDA retirees from Loma Linda, California areas will be embarking on a Norwegian Prima cruise starting at Reykjavik on 8/17/23. But we plan to arrive 2 days ahead to have a tour of the city and nearby places. Does the SDA church in Reykjavik have an AirBNB and a van with a tour guide that we can rent, instead of paying for a hotel and a tour company. If you have any information, it would be great to know early. Thank you and God bless our ministry in TED and Iceland.
Thank you for the message, I don’t think that thy have AirBNB but please do get in touch with pastor Gavin Anthony who is serving as mission president gavin@adventistar.is And also I do not think thy have a van as I had to higher one for the Master Gide camp. Minibus higher is very expensive in Iceland until today it is the most expensive hire I ever had :)
