I was there in April this year. It was my 9th visit to this amazing country. I had the Jeep Renegade also. Great vlog 🇮🇸 ❤

i was in July 1st week for 10 days. Its so so different in july. Full sun light and so much green. Yes, one can not see Northern light during that month. But Iceland is so beautiful in all the season. Very nice video and so clearly explained for people who want to visit in Mar/Apr.

Wonderful video very relaxing theme, as I am planning to go in March why did you had to return in instead of going around? Im planning to do a road trip around the entire island as I have done in the past.

Thank you. We could not drive to the East and North parts due to severe weather. The road turned to ice and the wind were dangerous. We could not reach our accommodation booked in the areas due to road closed according to road.is. So to be safe we decided to drive back and changed plans.

I've planned a trip next year with your exact timeline from end-March to early April too. I didn't thought the weather can be such extreme. Me too has planned the ring road tour, but it seem will have possibility to cancel the trip to east and northern side if change of weather. Thank you for your sharing, this is indeed valuable reminder. Lastly, may I know which company you engaged for the Katla Ice Cave tour? Thanks!

Glad my video is useful for you. If I have another chance, I would visit Iceland around the mid of August. During this time of year, you can do all things including Ring Road, Ice Cave, Highland, and the northern light with a good weather. I bought ther service from Troll Expeditions for visiting the Katla Ice Cave. Have a good one!

Okay, an important question... How much did you follow the drone regulations? Was it almost prohibited everywhere to fly?

Hi, I want to catch the tail end of winter but with more more sunlight and stabler weather. Isn't the weather more stable in Iceland during mid-to-end March comparing to Dec to Feb? I know it varies but l'm just looking for some advice from experienced travellers for this idea: we are planning to stay in the capital for 8 nights and waiting for the good weather conditions. We are interested in 2 tours: golden circle and the west coast+glacier lagoon. When the weather turns well for the next day, and we'll book the local tour immediately. Is it feasible? Like I case there is storm, we'll still have some days to buffer. 😊

I never go to Iceland in December. I think the weather is more stable in Early March as I used to see people that can complete the Ring Road during the early March. Your plan is good in any month as the golden circle can be finished in 1-2 days and the weather in the southern part is generally good to travel all year round.
      Have a good one.

@@OatCmor your footage looks very well done. Was is difficult getting drone footage in places where there were people? Like Seljalandfoss for example? I'm considering buying a drone but I'm worried about Iceland laws in certain areas. The filming was great. I enjoyed watching

@@HarryOsirian Hi Harry. Most tourist attractions in Iceland are vast and spacious. You can take off your drone at a location far from the crowd and then reach an altitude without annoying anyone. The ambient noise and water fall will also help minimize your drone noise to others as well.
The restricted area to fly your drone is in the city of Rejkavik. Your remote control will notify you not to fly and it will be locked automatically from taking off.
At some waterfall there are birds so be careful when flying not to close to their nests. Do not risk your drone flying if windy. Hope this help.
