Some worthwhile observations. If you are out with a couple of guys playing with RC cars, the hot girls won't know which car is yours but they do see that ugly radio in your hand.

Worth buying just for the body’s then upgrade them like you 👍🏻

Yes, I did buy a Bronco body, already painted (red-white) and it will probably come on the SG-1802 truck.

Wow I had no idea about the horrible electronics, the trucks look awesome tho.
Can you please make a comparison video of the 1/18 gelande and 1/18 katana and or all the other 18 scale trucks, I can’t find a single video on the 18 gelande and any other 18 scale truck together

Awesome video ! I purchased three of these ESCs for my CR24 RCs , I have a FlySky FSGT5 and flysky Reciever which you also recommended in another video ! Would I need a BEC to use this ESC with the flysky ? I have a 7.4 battery to accommodate , i have tried out the hobbywing which is good but to large and loud , thanks !

For AS12/6 you will need a BEC, for AS12/15 and Volksregler not.

I put one of these ESCs in my FMS Atlas on your recommendation and it's amazing. Night and day difference. For the Gelande, can you not use the stock transmitter like you can with the atlas? The stock one sucks anyway so not a deal breaker but it means i'll have to wait to do this until I can get a radio.

      Cool!
I tried - because the radios of the Gelände 2 1/18, both, the "old" version of my Bronco, and the "new" version of my Defender, seem to be TurboRacing Radios (as are the Atlas, CR-18, ... etc. radios). the cheapest ones Turbo Racing 91802G (Bronco) and the model of the Defender (I actually do not find this on TurboRacing website anymore, but did find it some months ago (turboracinghobby dot com). But both of those radios will not bind to the receiver I recommended.
Take any radio, TurboRacing P32 and P52 are nice and cheap, with model memory, lot of setting options (but of course better radios will work, too).

Hey man, awesome comparison. I wanted to ask you for you suggestion about modellbau regler esc. Which one of those can you recommend for wpl C24 with metal upgrades. I was thinking about 1060/1080 from hobbywing but they also make that bad noise, and these from modellbau regler are make no noise which is very impressive. Also if you can tell me which one is good enough for MN86ks model. Thank you very much for sharing. ✌️

AS12/15 or larger. But the larger ESCs are more expensive, their newest ESC with even better resolution is AS12/40.
Hobbywing 1080 does not make any noise at all if you set PWM frequency to 16 kHz. Check this video: ruclips.net/video/hZE1BhMhiHQ/видео.html
I really can recommend the Hobbywing 1080 for this size of trucks, because it is so cheap (35 € Hobbyking) and you can adjust so many settings, it does not make any noise at all.
