It's very satisfying to see you finally get to the point of being able to use it. What a great restoration. I hope the work it performs for you makes up for all the hard work, time, and money you put into it.
Your trackhoe looks great. I have the same tractor with front end loader and backhoe. Mine is still running the original single cylinder 16 hp engine. I welded up an 8 inch wide bucket for the backhoe and have dug two cabin foundations and about 160 foot trench for sewer line, not to mention moving rocks and things. Great little tractor, fun to use!
i have enjoyed watching this entire refurbishment. nice work sir. i may have went with the diesel and added a tall stack for the exhaust, but it is not mine. wish it was though.
Thank you! I have enjoyed rebuilding the dozer and the little bit I have had to use it. More videos about it coming sometime in the future... Thanks for watching!
@@gardeningpreacher i am currently rebuilding a SATO BEAVER , it is a 13 HP 3 cylinder diesel 4 wheel drive. transmission is frozen wheels are rotten but, it has great bones. i do not do videos it watch and learn. please tell me again what is that spray you use for freeing stuck bolts and such.
@@jakebendel5238 It is GM Heat Valve Lube. I got it from my local Chevy dealer's parts department. They had never heard of it so I had to take my old can in. They ordered it and liked it so much they gave me an extra can free.
@@jakebendel5238 I came up with 2 different part numbers and 2 different looking cans - don't know what the difference between them are - but the numbers are: 88862627 & 88862628... It's about $8-10 a can and well worth it in my opinion...
When those old hydraulic lines sit for a few years, or sometimes one, especially out in the weather they rot. When you run fluid through them again and get them hot they leak if you’re lucky - rupture if you’re not.
You might consider relocating or rerouting the front exhaust. I do not think that the heat blasting out on the pump and hydro hose would do them any good. Great project, enjoying it, thank you.
If I can make a suggestion about your exhaust you can probably join both exhaust together that way way you'd get a little more room to wiggle a bit starts to look nice whish there were things like that here in Canada good luck !
You need to tip the bucket back more when picking up you won’t lose so much I am guessing you have not really used one before but practice makes perfect
Hello, I’m hoping you can offer some guidance. My husband bought an MH5000 , ( likely almost 30 years old). There is a bracket that attaches the backhoe to the tractor is broken. The scematic doesn’t match the unit. ( extra holes on the unit, etc. ) There are two corner brackets that attach to a bottom rail that he thinks are supposed to be welded to the arm rails that attach the backhoe. ( the arms appear to me to have “stops”) Is there someone here I could talk to and send pics to to see how it is actually supposed to be? Called Struck and unfortunately they weren’t able to give any guidance. I can’t even order a replacement bracket for the one that broke. Thank you!!
As soon as the weather cooperates, I plan on getting the transaxle repaired or replaced and I hope to do several videos of this thing working - hopefully I will be able to answer some of your questions. At this point, I really haven't gotten to use it very much at all, but I'm excited to find out all these things myself. Thanks for watching...

Thanks. Currently the reverse is out of it right now. I have a line a replacement if I can just get the time to swap it out.
Mine is not moving at all. Don’t know yet what is wrong. My cabin is a thousand miles away, literally. Lol
Cant wait to see more on this. As a garden tractor guy I can really appreciate a machine like this
Glad they found the carburetor. She looks good
Don't be afraid to curl that bucket back when loading , it moves the load weight back towards you as a plus

Neat Machine Sir!
Dude that thing is too cool. I want one.

when that white metal pully melts look at a cast iron one with a taper lock
Looking good👍
Thank you!
I forgot to mention that, at least in my experience, the front loader will lift a bunch more than the backhoe.

$$$$ ;)

I would replace as much hose as possible with ss lines and cut the rubber down to just a few sizes.
As as the exhaust you could run a 90° and run it straight up
Now you have something with which to bury the bodies....lol. Nice!
Ummmm, I know nothing...
What u think the draw bar pull is
Can it pull trees
What one these machines cost used and new please
A new one similar to mine would run about $25,000+...

Sorry, but I can't help...mine mounts completely differently...
@@gardeningpreacher thank you! I was able to get Ron at Stuck Corp who knew the older machines.
Need the cubic inch of hydraulic pump that runs the loader
I'm not sure... how do you tell?
@@gardeningpreacher there will be a tag on it with a number
@@guypatts494 I'll try to look and see when I can... I don't remember right off seeing a tag on it...
look on struck corp web page and get the specs
How does it dig the loader
It seemed to do pretty good. I plan on adding a tooth bar to it and that will help it dig in better...
Im shoure you paid more for hoses. But youl be good for years
Add some led lights on the machine as well
Any updates
How much can it pull

Take that Ballesteros box off the front. You don't need that when you have the front end loader on
Кул👌✌️😁
Ur gonna suck lots of exhaust if you don't bring the pipes up above the cover
Can it pull trees
