beautiful people playing beautiful music
The voice of an angel that traveled across the ages ,space and time to haunt the hearts of many
I'm so sad they disbanded before I got to see them live, I've known them for 5+ years and keep coming back to this everyday cause it's so unique ❤️
was there any official annoucement?
I don't think there was any official notice they disbanded? No new music since 2016 (website is still active though) but Jof seems to be focusing on JFDR exclusively these days. Such a shame - Samaris music was so good.
Absolutely love this band- the clarinet really compliments the voice....
Sorry, but it so much better than original. Just perfect.
i love this band
me too
Barbara Hernandez count me in
Can't stop listening to them
That poncho dance though, GREAT!
When the cover sounds better than the original!!! Wow
Incredible, hypnotic, haunting
Spent two days trying to make the link with Gangly.
Some voices can never be forgotten even if your initial memory was linked to another language.
Bravo!
Marvelous!!!
Belle atmosphère. Belle présence.
Magnificent
I love this track so much. Great cover and I love the way the lead singer performs. Amazing audio engineering as always from KEXP!

The version is sublime, beyond words. I keep coming back to it. You three are amazing together. Thank you KEXP for uploading this but, most of all, thank you Samaris. 😙
The rhythm sounds like reggae;) :)
Ja schade , hätte sie gerne mal Live gesehen ❤
Samaris just keep getting better and better.
Check out the original, Mammút are top.
I just love when he screws up which nobody really would have known, nor me, if both of the ladies wouldn't have looked his way with that look as if he missed a beat. Comical. A very good piece of music. I keep coming back to this. Very talented and definitely quality, intelligent music!
🖤
Love it!
❤
지나칠수가없네
🖤 🖤 🖤
Yeah, ya got a fan now 🖤
Play liverpool UK... Please!! X
Is this the Jeb Bush like Trump said "low energy" crowd? How is nobody moving?? You guys are truly amazing! Your three sounds coming together to create incredible music! I wish you all much deserved success! Hope to see you in person one day and I will definitely be moving:)
i hope the clarinet is coming through that big ampeg rig lol
Why on earth.. They split up. Shame their great.
Some Dixieland muso walked by, saw the clarinet, and thought WTF?
I believe sounds like these used to echo through the primeval forest of ice age Europe, made by a mutant hybrid neanderthal people and their ice gods.
Fun fact: all of the words in Samaris songs are from the icelandic epic poems.
lsd
Nay, Cro-Mags and their Elvin kin.
@@takeo8810 really, that interesting
Is this a cover from mammut? somebody please explaine me.
it is :)
I was waiting for Yung Lean to come out
10/10, need me a yung gud remix of this
Why were you waiting for him, I don't get the joke.
I wrongly thought that is arabic motives ang the language of lyrics is Turkish))
Reminds me of björk.
Haha, feels like I read that every time there's an icelandic female singer..
Me too.
Yeah, but I think her voice and style is somehow similar to those of Bjork.
Brian Kim I think some of it has to do with the accent.
A little better, I might add
Took me about halfway through to realize it was a cover haha
What language is she singing? Or is it non-language tonal patterns?
0:25: Jesus, someone's going to need some serious dental work in a couple of years.
Infantile (pejorative). Not childlike.
