- In todays video, the family and I will transform the side yard and give new life to what use to be just another grassy location. This neglected space will transform in just a few hours and inspire more projects in the future.
You may not have a degree in landscaping but You are truly an artist. The new area is lovely. I really enjoy every area of your garden.
I'm just in awe of your talents in placing plants exactly where they should go!
Love the additions!
I like the new introduction on the video showing the arial view of the garden layout with the home. The makeover looks amazing.
So glad to have a Kansas gardener to watch! I love all the extras you put in your yard. Thanks
I was so impressed with your latest garden addition on your side garden. The work was so beautiful. It is very refreshing to see a man so interested in gardening in his yard. It is beautiful. Keep creating.
I think that patch of different coloured cone flowers will look spectacular next year. That's a great transformation.
It's really fun to watch you create these pockets of garden beauty. You are right, it looks like it's been there a while and it serves a purpose, the rock bed that is. Love it!
Wow everything looks beautiful. You have gifted hands.
Thanks for all the detail with your new area. One can never have too many boulders! They're a great addition. The flyover clip was a real treat!
Your video just made my day!!!! You inspire me so much for my own yard I cannot wait to go out and dig in the dirt - thank you so much Moxie Garden :):):):)

Just beautiful! I love your design style, Mike. Your combination of plants...textures, colors, sizes..with the addition of other elements..boulders, rocks, driftwood. 💚
You have such a talent for gardening! I noticed the small section of chain link fencing with the decoration hanging. What a novel idea! Yard is always so beautiful!
Love the stones. Looks natural and permanent.
Grounded
I’m still amazed on what a transformation you’ve achieved in your yard after looking at the photos on your Instagram of the original yard. It’s so inspiring to see what you’ve achieved. Helps me realize what is possible even in my own space . I just wish I’d started years ago when I was younger and stronger. Lol! But I will keep plugging away! Please keep sharing your gorgeous space. I enjoy your videos so very much.

If you can get hold of gypsum or dolamite he helps to break down clay soil, used by gardeners in Australia.
Your garden continues to grow and flourish, it's good for the soul and will give you and your family many years of pleasure as well as all your subscribers! 🇬🇧👪🇬🇧
Oh my goodness l need this stuff..........my garden is CLAY soil...drives me crazy....wonder would l get this in Ireland....must check ✔
You can also use cotton burr compost to help with the clay.
@@sharonmiller758 I've never heard of this Sharon !! ..... guess I'm still learning 🤷 😍🤗 thankyouuuu x
Thankyou so much for this reply....l must investigate to see if l can get it here .....🤞💚🤩💚
@@isobeldunn9152 I have bought many bags at our home improvement store. I dig the hole, break up the clay with the shovel, then mix in the compost. It will take a while to change the soil - but the drainage improves dramatically.
Boy! What an up close view of the Blue Angels!
You do have such a great eye for the placement of garden elements-plants, stones, creek beds, driftwood, whatever! It all looks SO good together. Such great interplay of color and texture. Terrific! P.S. My favorite plant spot is the discount section at my local Lowe’s.
Really look forward to your videos
I really like the new bed! I like the 'action' videos where you're actually showing the process. Also, awesome new intro. Happy 4th!
Looks lovely Mike 🥰 totally transformed the area, yet looks like it’s always been there 🪴🌺🪴

Love those big Stones, I yearn for some in my garden 🤔
Oh this looks just marvellous Mike. Looks like it has been there forever too. Aren’t Heucheras beautiful, they’re one of my favourite plants as they’re such great colours all year round. Really like all the drone shots at the start too 😊
Awesome job! I'm your neighbor in Missouri! Your fern is Pteridium aquilinum, common braken and also called eagle fern. It spreads by spores and is aggressive in some places. It grows 1 to 3 feet tall. It is edible but can cause stomach cancer.
Awesome 👌 Thank you for sharing.
Looks wonderful! Wow! 🤩
Beautiful!!
Looks beautiful!!!!
Beautiful 🤩

Japanese painted fern is what you bought from wal mart . most are perennial
Don’t know why your neighbors like boring yards when they can have a beautiful one like yours!
I have a neighbor who cut down all his trees, did not plant one thing the backyard, nothing.
@@Gtumrths my neighbor has no flowers. Very bare!
Love it! Great job! 👍
I have learned to trim my Leylands hard every Spring to keep them narrow. I also clipped the tops off once they got tall enough. Just passing it along as they do grow fast. ❤️
Nice❣️
Awesome!!! Only 200$ wow. My jaw dropped when you said $30 for plants. Ours are so expensive! Keep doing what your doing. Very inspirational. The blue Angels are here where I live💕
Lost my shade garden when my huge Ashtree died😭
You really have a gift. Well done!
I have some Leylands screening my neighbor and you have inspired me to underplant like this. Thanks! Looks gorgeous.
Looking good love your flower beds from robeson county

Wow 👌
You should give tours and charge money for them. I love to see a notification that you are doing something in the garden.
I love it!
I like to go to Blooms & Home Show, ur garden reminds me of Bloom's Show.
I do not know how you did it, but I love your aerial intro. Your garden is looking great. Have you thought about maybe adding a gazebo eventually if you have an area for it?
The music was a bit loud over your talking. I like the talking as that is how we learn. thank you.
That so amazing!
Thank you @MoxieGardens🙏
Beautiful garden. I really like they way you incorporate rocks and dry creek beds. I think the ferns might be maidenhair ferns.
Looks beautiful I want to see how looks when water comes through. Is it just a small amount?
Great video! Regarding the unknown fern, I’m thinking they are either Hay-Scent fern or Common lady fern. Hope it helps to narrow down the options.
Looks great! I scored on clearance flowers this weekend as well, doing a shade area with them this week, I also thrifted a four foot long rusted tool box to plant that I'll be adding in the garden too. (More flower shopping) lol
Your garden looks great! Love your new space. I'm not sure about your ferns but I'm happy to know the hosta I got on clearance looks to be a stained glass hosta. I've been searching varieties to see if I could find it so thanks for that information. Enjoying your videos and learning too, so thanks again.
💕 love 💕 the pink Hydrangeas and all the Evergreens as a backdrop. Did you ever deal with Voles ?
Not yet...
💪👍👍
Woooow! Look at that black, black soil. Yummy
Gene from Pennsylvania doing a very good job wish I had your help in my Park I do 30 gardens in memorial Park in New Kensington so have a good day okay bye
If you deadhead the spent daisies you may get a second flush of blooms.
You bet I will. Thank you!!!
Love your garden and love to visit it if you every like to share with an avid gardner near by.
I haven’t seen anything posted by you in a long time. Would love to see more from you if you’re still willing to share your talent.
Just bought a pink hydrangeas..Haven't seen your video lately..hope all is well..sending great thoughts your way...
I think I live close to you (Olathe). Do you have problems with rabbits? I can't grow hostas because of them. Wonder if they would eat ferns? Great video, love your channel!
They do!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬
Your garden is absolutely amazing! I’m so inspired by you. Our backyard is about the same size as yours. I’d like to do a similar style but I wonder how much time you need to put in in order to keep and maintain it like this? How many hours a day you need to spend to maintain it?
I use mulch and plant stuff so close together so that the weeds don't really cause too much trouble. So most my time in the garden is just spent day dreaming and enjoying life. Good luck!!
@@moxiegardens8033 wow! You reply to comments! Thank you so much! Yesterday I showed your video to my husband and he got so inspired and we worked the whole day in the yard. 🤪 We got so much done. Your drift wood design was so impressive. We both said it reminded us of what we always see in our hikings. We see those dried tree trunks all the time but never would think of putting it into our yard. Very creative! Thank you for all the videos! Keep them coming.
