    Very interesting with the thermal aging discussion we had from last Peugeot Adblue video. Very weird you had no fault codes.
    The thermal aging % starting at 100 and going to 0 was the way it works with the Peugeot stuff and the way we diagnose, but the Launch is showing 0 after you did the replacement, seems like for your use case the more logical calculation is the one that the Launch shows meaning starts at 0% and counts up to 100% when dead.
    Estimate thermal aging is also an interesting calculation which I'll try to find out for us all the inner workings of, I´ll return with my findings ;)
    Other than that your understanding of the pressure build up and the 4bar thing and etc was completely correct, your Peugeot Adblue-game is getting good!

    I’ve come across 2 common faults with the newer dispatch and Vauxhall combo and Toyota pro ace vans 1.they are very sensitive to poor adblu quality especially with fleets who store it in bulk or containers being left opened to atmosphere and reacts with oxygen very readily 2.after the injection phase has been completed the pump should reverse and pull excess adblu back through the system to stop the lines freezing the pump seems to stop reversing and cause the lines to become blocked and lower the amount of injection and increase nox emissions it will still tell you the pressure is correct as the suction pot and lance are still able to pump but just not enough adblu gets to the injector as the pressure sensor is built into the pump and not the lines it’s even something I’ve come across on the Mercedes’ Benz range and Volvo trucks

      How did you fix it? Chance pump unit?

    • @Gearhead90
      @Gearhead90 Год назад +1

      The fault is all down to a rubber diaphragm that splits on a flow control valve because the pump doesn’t actually reverse there’s a valve that controls the direction of flow and when the rubber splits it stops the pump being able to suck the adblu out of the lines you can buy a repair kit for it but you need the time and patience to strip and rebuild it most workshops don’t have this time so it’ll end up getting a pump and dosage module and in some cases ie bmw a whole tank very pricey

    All this emissions crap, there's a bloke near me with a old Toyota Hiace 500,000 miles from new and never give him problems other than rust. Never uses oil as he changed oil every year.

    We run 16 of these vans at work and when they start with Adblue problems they never stop. Some have been in for over 3 months now.

      Yes definitely true. One customer has had it back to dealer 10+ times in a year. New cat. New adblue tank. New injector. New nox sensors yet still ongoing

      @@ORileysAutos same issues for us. The adblue system is chucked on and it's not designed to last sadly. The amount we use ours means that the whole system fails inside warranty.

    I have the exact same issue currently , how much would it cost to carry out the resets as I’ve already cleaned the injector already

    I wish it was that easy, my 308 light came on I put 15 litres in to fill it up now dash said 1500 miles till shutdown.
    Cleared codes said no codes found adblue level light still on.
    Phoned Peugeot garage up said it will go out once you have done 50 mile run.
    Done 200 miles now saying 1300 mile range before shutdown.
    I think the float in the tank is stuck at the bottom of the tank, not sure if it’s removal to clean maybe crystal is up
    Maybe need a better computer to clear codes hidden deeper in the ecu car computer
