Thanks for the video Jimmy. Interestingly enough this car does read thermal aging of denox cat backwards, being 100 is new and 0 is worn, the Peugeot way you would expect. Sometimes though I see you get cars reading the correct way meaning 0 being new and 100 being used, weird how it's not consistent but it is what it is.
Guys you need to read this message. This is my one contribution to humanity. If you have topped your you Adblue all the way (normally 10ltr) and the light is not going out what you need to do is rev the fuck out of the engine or give it some on the motorway. Save yourself computer reset charges. I have been driving these types of vans for four years and this works!!! If you are really unlucky the sensor can crystallise and stop reading the levels but this only happened to me once with the 5 different Peugeots and citreons that I had. JUST GIVE IT SOME 💪
My 208 has an AGM battery, my wife's Micra has an EFB battery which I believe is the same type and specification as this one, both have stop start. I'm not sure of the practical differences but my battery lasted at least as long as I've had the car, which was 7 years by the time I had the battery replaced (and it was 3 years old when I got it).
Hi Jimmy been watching your videos- I have a 2019 Citroen Bllingo my Add blue light has come on and engine light - took it to the dealers they advised I need a new add blue tank and a new injector. After watching your video it seems possible that might not be the case. How do I purchase one of those plug in computers for my van? They said the sensor in the tank is faulty and that you cannot access the tank as it is a sealed unit- new tank over £800 I’m wondering is this really necessary. Can you help? Thank for video really insightful. I will tune again
I put some in mine, as I do very miles, so hardly ever add adblue. Who know if it works or not, as I had no problems the first 5 years without it, and none the last year with it.
Hi Jimmy, I have the same van 112k no problems yet. Is it worth me having the same procedure done to avoid future problems. What's your opinion of mapped out adblue delete?
I often wonder what some of the true differences are with the OBD readers. I have a Bluetooth Scanner tool and an app called CarScanner (which I have upgraded to the pro version). Some things I can see and clear, yet others I cannot. For instance, I'm 90% sure there is a DPF issue (vehicle flags up P1445/ECD16C3 Additive system, quantity of additive is too high - the error seems to come and go), yet although the tool has the ability to show differential pressure, it doesn't show anything. It's not that the value is zero, it shows nothing at all...
I would be disappointed if a 4 year old battery needed replacing unless it had had a really tough life, we haven't even had a properly cold prolonged winter for years either.
What's the main difference between 1.6hdi and the 1.5hdi only 61cc is it the same design with a different head or different crank anyone know, would just liek to know.
I feel like your the only one who can sort out my 2018 partner the demn thing 🤦♂️
Thanks for the video Jimmy.

With those codes the first thing I would check is battery terminals, especially on a French vehicle.
Thank you so much for the videoes! I am learning quite alot! I want to get myself one of these vans!
Much love from Norway!
As thorough as usual!! 😊👍🏼
Another fine job

It would be interesting to know if the problem came back after a few weeks or not because I had a few simmilar issues.
Thanks for the videos what is your opinion on the adblue additive that supposed to reduce the crystallisation of the adblue liquid.
If it works its a life saver. Definitely worth a try
@@ORileysAutos many thanks for your time and for getting back to me

Does this seem to be the issue and fix with all these 1.5. Cause I see this all the time on berlingos, partners and combos?
Hi Jimmy do you ever have to do two flushes of the DPF or after one flush if that don’t work your DPF is buggered ,can you please comment
Nice one 👍😃
I have the same issue with my 2019 berlingo, isn’t easier to just delete the adblue?
No, but what you can use is the piss of a china man 🇨🇳 works great and the light goes out

DV6 D onwards were 8v, whereas - as far as I can tell - most of the DV5 variants are 16v.
@@stephandolby make sense given the 1.5 makes more power and more torque.
@@beany1987 The power is up a bit but I think the torque, at least with the models with the highest power output, seems unchanged.
@@stephandolby yes you are correct the torque is exactly the same 221ftlbs or 300nm same as the 115 1.6hdi
Please send me your post code thanks
Say Jimmy best mobile working as cost is high in working places and staff,, guys don't wanna work these days,🤦
Stay away from French cars period .
Doesn't leave much choice in vans.
