Nice video. Don't forget there's a good thorough manual for you to read through if needed. Regarding the EFB, It can be toggled using the I/COMM switch on the right instrument panel.

Now that looked like an Arrow in flight behaviour. Looks beautiful too and you sound thoroughly enamoured. I love modern GA aircraft and systems but not in a Piper, gotta go old school. Great vid Rachael

i thoroughly love this plane. between it, the spitfire and the modded tbm, there are some truly engaging planes in the sim now.

FYI, you can remove the tablet entirely using the "I/Comm" switch above Comm1/Nav1. If you flip that switch to off the tablet goes away :)

That was my thought. Coming from DCS I am used to some high priced modules but DCS has a ton more systems to model so I am not sure why the pricing is so high (other than the obvious supply and demand theory). Definitely has the look and feel of the Piper Arrow though. Nice module and a nice review.

I always had a soft spot for the PA-28 series ever since Flight Simulator II on the Commodore 64 when I was a kid, so this was my first purchase for the new MSFS, a total no-brainer. Strange that Carenado would do the exact same model at the same time as JustFlight though, seems like kind of a waste of effort when they have such a huge and wonderful back catalog of planes to bring over from FSX. I do really enjoy their Seneca and am looking forward to some more of their twins such as the Cessna 421 and Turbo Commander 690, both of which my uncle has flown in real life.
The only plane I’ve seen in MSFS with a good prop animation that doesn’t flicker and spaz out.

Strange, the master and alternator, and all lights in the cockpit remained off during the flight.... I wonder if it doesn't play nice with the honeycomb
Could be... but they certainly were on and the mags operated with the honeycomb
@@AvAngel the only thing that seems to work is the mag switch/ignition switch on the honeycomb, none of the light switches are working nor the batt, alt and bus switches.

Having watched this, I take it you leapt at the opportunity to get the Turbo Arrow as well? It's my most fav aircraft in the whole sim, standing on 170 hours flight time just in the Turbo Arrow III and still enjoying every minute.
I actually didn't... I had the original and couldn't justify the expense for an engine change :S

Thanks for another great video, well explained. Just one question, how did you get the 530 to come on, I cannot get it to work nor the 430, they have no on/off buttons , should come on with the avionic switches. Any Ideas? More people seem to have this issue. Thank you for your time.
It came on for me with the avionics 'sim' button which is mapped to my honeycomb yoke... but they should have power buttons top right.
@@AvAngel I have mine mapped to the Honeycomb yoke as well, The button you referring on the top right is not doing anything. Will have to wait and see if anyone comes up with a solution. Thank you.
The EFB can be disabled it is right hand switch close to the efb on the top
Random question, did you ever use to do videos with Jeff Favignano many many years ago on GTA? Voice sounds familiar and user name is kinda similar.

i had to reinstall it because i was messing with the files for this plane added a v8 400 horse power and 1 turbo it flew well but took off at taxi very fast at 0 power but in the air the plane would shake coming up on 160 kt when i went to add more i ruined it . I reinstalled clean now every time am in the air and toggle ap the plane does a nose dive and a flip at the same time to the ground tunring on and off does nothing

Anyone else having the GPS units displays beeing black. For me GPS is working if putting the AP in Nav, but the Display remains blank for both, 530 and 430
i had that happen to me chose gps 100 turn the display to full bright then click 530 or 430 if that doesnt work click ai flys plane on then off rifght away
Assume you have downloaded the latest update where this is fixed for you?
@@justflight yap..but I've been able to fix it before. The issue was the freeware GNS-Mod which seemingly wasn't compatible to the arrow.
Carenado Arrow got patched today, and they also announced another patch being on the way.
Will need to check that update

@@AvAngel there is no on/off button, both the 430 and 530 will not light up, any other ideas?
Does it come with a version that isn't clapped out/trashed? I mean that thing looks like it was salvaged from a junk yard after a wreck where it was on fire or something. Its a simulator, I can afford a nice looking plane lol. It looks like a case of "Just because you can doesn't mean you should.". That is one of my gripes about ms2020. Especially all the scratches and smudges on glass. A little bit of weathering and wear is one thing. An interior that is dirty and gross, a yoke missing half the paint and a dirty floor is another. If you can't be bothered to clean your aircraft lord knows what other maintenance items you are skipping because you are lazy.

There’s nothing gross or junk about this plane... looks loved and realistic, unless a plane is brand brand new nothing is that pretty
My great uncle managed an airport and was a pilot. My uncle was a pilot in the Air Force, my aunt was an air traffic controller in the Air Force and I was a crew chief on F-4 E and G models. I have worked on F-4's, F-16's, T-38's and OV-10's And while I am not a pilot I have ridden in many GA aircraft over the years. There is a different between wear and just being dirty. And yes I have seen some not so nice, dirty planes. However I have also seen quite a few that are kept up nice as well. Me personally I would prefer one that looks like it has been taken care of.

@@AvAngel I honestly think we are both making a bigger deal out of it then it is. I have had a bad week and was just bitch I guess lol. I didn't mean to imply the aircraft was bad. Looks like they did a great job with it. I just don't care for the look they went for. If they went through that much effort to make it look worn seems like they could have just easily offered a version that looked decent. And I honestly don't know why I care. For one its probably not something I would actually buy. And two I am the opposite of you. I do most of flying outside the cockpit with the virtual guages on the screen. Only time I really go in the cockpit is to control something I don't have mapped to a button. Seems like most of my comments on your videos have been a bit negative, sorry about that. I love your videos and think you are doing a great job. Keep up the great work.
