Nice video glad you like it. On the pricing, please remember this - current Arrow owners qualify for 25% off the price. All will have received an email from us with details on how to claim the discount. On the original Arrows, once you had the initial Arrow you could get the Turbo version for 66% less via the same discount mechanism. So overall given the quality across the range and there is a lot of extra work required to develop the Warrior despite a lot of commonality we believe the pricing is very fare and offers great value for money. Each to their own of course and I'm sure others will have their own opinions. Just thought it worth pointing that out to you. Happy Flying!
I never got a single email about this :( I've had to buy them full price each time :( You sure that went out to all purchasers from your site? The quality indeed is phenominal... its why I don't gripe TOO much, They're obviously worth it, but I had to find a point of criticism to be balenced otherwise I'd sound like an advert.

I normally wait for your reviews before I buy any planes but I've been waiting for this one for a long time so I got it as soon as the email arrived. I love it, it's a great little plane. Some people have moaned that it's low on power up to the other Pipers but that's a plus for me. And I agree about the landings, it really feels sweet! My go-to GA from now on. Thanks for your great review, keep them coming? 👍💖
I mean I bought it instantly too :D I wanted one of these for some time. It's not fast, but it's not meant to be... its basically a 152/172... its a nice chill GA cruiser.
Excellent review! I earned my PPL on two of these back in the 90's and it brought back a lot of memories. One minor point I noticed: the cockpit registration tag differs from the external reg markings (this changes automatically on MS aircraft).
I wasn't going to buy this because I prefer the faster Arrows, but the discount changed my mind combined with the overall quality of their MSFS products so far. The glowing reviews about its realism sealed the deal. Took it on a flight from Astoria to Friday Harbor via Seattle at 5500. With the wheel fairings I've gotten about 110kts cruise. Took just over an hour and a half. Very enjoyable to fly and it'll be my "low and slow" choice over the default 152.
When I saw this before I clicked on your video I was thinking please be good, please be good. So many of the rental/flight school aircraft are Warriors and I have such a lot of time in this plane. Honestly even with the discount, you are right, the fact it essentially has slightly different dynamics and fixed gears, I just can't justify spending £20 still for essentially a fixed wing version. Nothing against the model, it's just there's really no reason to have them both unless they both have some sentimental value. I'd rather spend that on something a bit more quirky/different like the new SunSonex JSX-2, the ipanema crop duster or Grumman Widgeon. I really look forward to what JustFlight work on next though, assuming it's a step away from the piper family.
Great video , thank you AvAngel well worth the subscription for that landing alone ;) don't forget on top of the discount you also have the points to spend from any previous Just Flight purchases, yes still a tad expensive considering the regurgitated parts but the devil they say is in the details, and these Just flight aircraft as well as Carenados are full of them, for example I had never noticed the puff of smoke that comes from underneath the warrior engine on start up before, anyway great review.👍👍👍👏

@@AvAngel Well you’re doing a great job. That’s how ideas are hatched - and with the recent popularity and growth with MSFS I wish you all the luck. The algorithms are going to start bringing you viewers, no doubt.
I guess the problem is if this is and the turbo is cheaper than the 3, guess which ones will sell better ? Hence the discount if you own another version is the way to get around this.
Price of the JF aircraft and the GTN 750 puts it over £100. To much for me! Cockpit graphics are lower resolution than native Asobo single engined aircraft. Just my observation. Thanks for review, nice as always. Bless you?
I don't agree on resolution, to me, its as good if not better... plus I'll trade a tiny bit of one thing for the FAR more it offers over a stock aircraft with nothing to it but prettyness. The GTN yeah... that thing spensive.
After experimenting last night I found for the avionics on the Warrior/Honeycomb yoke (maybe others?) you have to bind the switch to "Avionic Master Set" rather than "Avionic Master 1 Set" and "Avionic Master 2 Set". Also worth noting that if you own one of the other JF Pipers you get a discount on the Warrior. Not sure if that applies after release though.
Just a heads up, the Avionics switch is on the right side of the right yoke, left side of the blue switch and red switch. Took me 10 mins or so just trying to find it. As of this typing, The Warrior II version 1.1 is now downloadable. Unsure of the patch notes. Also enjoy your videos.

Just a saitek throttle quadrant
Thanks
ive got both previous offerings from just flight, it just looks like the same aircraft as before, so i wont be bothering with this one, i think it probably appeals to those who have a connection to the real aircraft, or haven't got the other two. although on the plus side, if you do have the other two, they offer a 25% discount on this one
yeah they mentioned that, I never got those emails :( full price for me :( XD
I wish they made something different
