pop smoke was known to repeat bars in his songs but the label took it to a whole nother level like his chorus from Hello with Boogie is used in like 3 or more songs which goes to show how much the label didn't care about the artist and only cared about the money they can earn using said artist's name
People are too harsh on chance. The big day is bad but the song he released after that I think it’s called “the heart and the tongue” was really good. I still think he’ll release good music
Look, I hate Revival just as much as the next guy. But people who call him a bad rapper overall because of 1 album are super petty. One stinker shouldn't shade his overall artistry and accomplishments. I thought Kamikaze was just ok, and Music to be Murdered by was ehh.. but people bash those albums because of Revival. Let me suggest some trucks and you go tell me if they are bad: Homicide, Still Ballin, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, Lost In Translation, COMMANDO and CY. Like... How do you hate on such songs, wtf?
Total Xanarchy is awful, and one of the worst things I've ever heard. But Rolling papers II by Wiz Khalifa is by far the worst piece of art i have experienced. Xanarchy is horrible, but at least it is short and fun (fun at how bad it is) RPII is very long and it feels like it was created to destroy music as a form of art. Everything that can be wrong and horrible in a rap album is found there. I legit was almost depressed for the next three days after listening to it.
Hell yeah, Total Xanarchy's forever gonna be my guilty pleasure in music! Is every song of the album besides Betrayed really trashy? Yes. Do I still have like 10 of the songs in one of my playlists? Absolutely! Awful album, totally agree with your (and everyone else's) perception, still has that weird place in my heart hahaha
kinda funny that you complain about x’s posthumous songs being “short” when they’re literally all longer than the majority of his early music. Literally all his early stuff is rare to be over a minute long. It’s all 30-50 second long snippets. a hook and one verse pretty much.
I can’t take this list seriously when you got Jack, Em, Khaled Logic on here for worst rap albums ever when you got Megan Thee Stallion, Migos, Cardi B and Lil Pump with albums😂

To be honest Pop Smokes - faith isn’t even that bad besides from 4-5 songs , I feel like if they shortened the track list ,got better features and used other finished unreleased tracks the album could’ve been better
Whoever made this video, is definitely under 25 All these albums came out under 10 years ago.. hip-hop is 50 years old.. no way the 10 worst albums came out 2017 onward
I agree with you on the majority of this list but the revival album is only bad because you never actually listen for bars triple double entendres and just the rhyme pattern that you will never find in any of these rappers on this list or any other rapper with that being said I cannot take the rest of this list seriously
Thing is he’s just a rapper everyone does not like. All the targeting here goes to a single project or at least one album worse then the rest for him its everything he does which equates to the artist
This dude is full of it. Kamikaze was one of the best received albums. Just cause your slow and bars go over your head doesn't mean the albums bad it just means your not bright enough to understand the lyrics.
Calling kamikaze as the most embarassing album is such a dumb take ngl when there are songs like fall, the ringer and etc that got good rythim and flow with good lyrical on it.
I’ll never forgive Lil Nas X to have made Jack Harlow famous. That guy almost ruined Industry Baby. His verse are AWFUL and his music SUCKS! He only spits about how great he is, BUT HE’S NOT
Honestly, DJ Khaled needs to take a step back and realize "Damn, Igor is still on everyone's playlists and my shit doesn't even get radio play anymore..."
Umm why do I keep see people saying pop smokes album shoot for the stars aim for the moon is a posthumous album? He literally almost finished it before he died, after he died they added a few features and did a bit more, but he mainly had it done before he passed away, so it's not really a posthumous album
Definition of a posthumous album is an album released after the artists death. So yes, it is a posthumous album regardless of how “close” he was to finishing it
@208shooter yea but everyone also keeps saying it, like he didn't finish it, everyone keeps saying the album was done as a tribute which isn't true, since he basically had it finished so it can't be, that's all I wanted to get at
@@NovaraLilDizzbro I’m a top tier pop smoke fan, he did not have shoot for the stars finished. His team had to go and touch up or add to so many tracks. Like creature, for the night Snitching, the woo, all these songs were unfinished and his label came in to finish his vision,
@dominicbowie8998 I said mainly finished from what I see on Google, it was like 70%-90% done before he passed, my point is that's a big chunk, I feel like it was still his vision, it might not be fully his vision but, it's close as it gets

It’s a dame shame how they handled his legacy after his death. They released like 70+ tracks in a year in a half after his death.
Rip pop smoke Man, we were robbed of an all time legend in the making no doubt.
Had this young man survived he would be the biggest new gen rapper alive rn no doubt.
Asap Rocky “Testing” was pretty hated too. It was a way different style sonically and not featuring any asap mob on it especially Ferg or Carti wasn’t appreciated. Whole lotta red was extremely hated but like all Carti albums it eventually grew on the fan base lol.
Got 3 classic tracks from Pop Smokes album. Tell the Vision, Manslaughter and Brush Em will forever be in my rotation. Manslaughter feels like such a triumphant memory of Pop to me but I guess the rest of the album wasn’t true to the Woo.
Tbk Kamikaze was good and it sold well
4:57 Lmaoo this stage dive I’m dying 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Had to include it
I hate when people outside of the community critique things inside of the community
Music to be murdered by is a good album
Safe to say 2019 …😂 was a tough year for hip hop and well a lot of mid projects or atleast for him in the video
It was 💀💀💀
pop smoke was known to repeat bars in his songs but the label took it to a whole nother level like his chorus from Hello with Boogie is used in like 3 or more songs which goes to show how much the label didn't care about the artist and only cared about the money they can earn using said artist's name
On genius it actually says that there are some reused bars that ad “charm for old and new fans.” This was for faith
@@Cantpickgoodhandlename it would've been cool if they never overused bars imo
Cant really blame the label when all pop smoke had in the vault were most likely demos or throwaway songs where he reused bars alot.
@@woo_shynen8805 I think they just edited in the overused bars to make the songs longer
Jack Harlow is a tik tok rapper

True 😂😂
The most famous tik tok rapper is coi leray

2019 was tough on this man
2018 and 2019 were just a bit rough for music in general, at least in my opinion.
I wish I liked Swimming more than I did.
I just think its unfair for Em to get that vitriolic amount of disrespect because of one album. I (sort of) agree that hes never recovered, but saying that hes "still bad" is flat out untrue.
It’s actually an honor to make a list like this. There’s been so many bad albums that never achieve the ranked of “hated”
As others have said and I was about to say, where’s Tom Macdonald? But I saw your response to someone saying that basically all of his work sucks, not just one album, and that completely makes sense lol. I agree with that 😂
Tom Macdonald isn’t mainstream, so no album from him is significantly hated
most of these albums were made by ppl that usually make good music
He isn’t relevant and he relies on negative reactions in order to push his narcissistic negative narrative that he’s a martyr.
I mean I think it’s cause Tom MacDonald feeds off the hate. He wants to be a hated, controversial rapper. He thrives off of that attention. The best thing to do to hate on him is to just ignore him and not include him in these kinds of videos
Started from the ground like a snowman is kinda 🔥🔥🔥
what i think they should’ve done with the rest of x’s music was put every demo, every ‘song’ that was released onto a big album kinda like the ? deluxe, but just have EVERYTHING. anything and everything that they could find.
I'm a huge fan of X and instead of them releasing stuff he didn't complete himself I wanted them to release his old music, before 'Look At Me', he has some really amazing stuff from when he was into the rock sound or poor 808 quality sound... that stuff is him at his most creative
Surprised not to see Honestly, Nevermind on here. Still a great video keep up the good work
It’s nowhere near the level of these albums in terms of backlash simply because a good amount of people loved it tbh
Nahh, believe me dawg, Aubrey Angels will eat up ANYTHING that man does, even if they question it for a second, they'll force themselves into it with their "it will grow own you" campaigns
Yeah that album was horrible
Pretty good list. The Kamikaze critique was a little inaccurate but I get the point your making about that run of music for Em.
Naw he was on point nobody was fking with it besides stans.
Agreed! Kamikaze is a good album
@@MsJackie25 No it wasn't
Boy I wasn't even talking to you, your opinion means nothing to me. Kamikaze is a good album just because you say it isn't doesn't make it true. This is your only warning do not reply to me, or i will report you for harassment . Your opinion your opinion, i respect it as you should mine. Kamikaze sold very well check the numbers. I feel like kid Cudi's rock album should be here too
Or lil waynes rock album
Kid cudi’s rock album wasn’t really hated by people it was just hated by critics
It was bad but I don’t think it’s in this group despite being close. Cudi’s heart was in the right place with is also which separates it from most of this list
@@fantastichiphop yeah true
SB2H was not a hip hop album
Shoot he redeemed himself with Vinyl Days !! And No pressure 👏🏾

I thought kamikaze was fire 🔥🤷♂️
Jay’s Kingdom Come and Nas’ Nastradamous should be dishonorable mentions.
This is a weird video title because “EVER” implies that there would be analysis on albums that came out more than 5 years ago too
@@babysosa1945 For real. There’s a lot of polarizing rap album so it makes no sense to put the word ever on the video title.

Bad vibes forever was something I was waiting for since 2016 and what they did was criminal but Skins by xxxtentacion was actually done except for a verse on mind in aww plus I wish they drop the version with juice WRLD 😢
I thought I found a new channel till your take on em! Maybe next time.
That better call Saul clip was unexpected but lovely 🤓 great video 🙏
Thanks 🙏 Glad you enjoyed stick around for more
Revival was bad but Kamikaze and MTBMB are not. He did diss a lot of people on Kamikaze but are we gonna act like he didn’t do that on MMLP or TES? The only thing he regretted from Kamikaze is dissing Tyler the Creator.
I'm A BIG pop smoke fan and the fact the label had to money grab after he died like what the hell
You must be young
haha, I don't agree with all your takes. But I respect the hell out of you having actual passionate opinions. love your channel. (I think Kamakaze is at least a pretty good album)
Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind has aged like wine. If we ignore some of the cringy lines, like the one shown here or the one with fortnite on Keanu Reeves, the rest of it is great. And I don't care what you say about ICY that shit is dope. Let me suggest some trucks and you go tell me if they are bad: Homicide, Still Ballin, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, Lost In Translation, COMMANDO and CY. Like... How do you hate on such songs, wtf?
You forgot Mama/Show Love
Total Xanarchy is awful, and one of the worst things I've ever heard.
But Rolling papers II by Wiz Khalifa is by far the worst piece of art i have experienced. Xanarchy is horrible, but at least it is short and fun (fun at how bad it is)
RPII is very long and it feels like it was created to destroy music as a form of art. Everything that can be wrong and horrible in a rap album is found there.
I legit was almost depressed for the next three days after listening to it.
Hopeless romantic alone saves it from this convo but I kinda agree in a way 🤣
@@fantastichiphop I just never see it brought up, but it surely deserves to be...
Pop smoke has gotta be our generations 50
He was so special 😭
Fr one of the best to come from ny
He was great but he ain't near 50 cmon. 50 did way more for the industry than Pop Smoke did.
@sevtas8422 I don’t think pop had the time to grow into what he was set out to be.
Low key underrated channel
working my way up 🙏
We need a video of mr f’s favorite albums
Soooon
kinda funny that you complain about x’s posthumous songs being “short” when they’re literally all longer than the majority of his early music. Literally all his early stuff is rare to be over a minute long. It’s all 30-50 second long snippets. a hook and one verse pretty much.
You forgot Visionland by YBN Nahmir
Good pick 🤣
W list, the only thing that's missing imo is that I would probably put Rebirth on the list. Besides Drop the World everybody hates it a lot
Thats fair I had it on here during a draft but took it off as I felt these were just worse in terms of bad attention
I actually like Revival. Mid sure but not bad
Revival is bad, but you can’t put any Em album under any Tekashi 69 album. That’s just crazy and disrespectful.
I can’t take this list seriously when you got Jack, Em, Khaled Logic on here for worst rap albums ever when you got Megan Thee Stallion, Migos, Cardi B and Lil Pump with albums😂
Well it’s not a “worst rap albums” list, it’s a “worst rap albums, as decided by a general consensus within the hip-hop sphere” list
Also I’d rather listen to Megan over any of those guys if I’m being honest 😂
@@Ronnie.Raymond you rather listen to Megan’s discography over Em’s last two albums?😂. I’m not even a fan of Em’s newer shit but I’m not picking a girl who only raps about what’s in between her legs over Em😂😂
Oh I like this video. Keep up the good work I’m definitely subscribing to this channel. I love you realness.
Thanks fam welcome 🙏🙏 Got more videos coming very soon
Now personally, I loved Confessions of a dangerous mind, a lot of underrated tracks like Limitless. I still listen to it to this day. Top 3 album by Logic can't change my mind
same bro i love a lot of songs on there. there are some songs on there that are either not great or are carried by the features but most of the songs are good
I ain't playin games unless we talkin' Fortnite -logic
The bar of all time 🔥
@@fantastichiphop Kendrick who?
To be honest Pop Smokes - faith isn’t even that bad besides from 4-5 songs , I feel like if they shortened the track list ,got better features and used other finished unreleased tracks the album could’ve been better
Nah bro that shit was terrible
they changed the beats to amazing songs it was all purely out of greed
I think one of my hottest takes in music is that the Big Day isn’t horrible. It’s mid. It actually has some enjoyable songs tbh
I get it. Agree to an extent also. Not as bad as some make it out to be
fax it got a few tracks that aren’t that bad at all
Agreed. The context definitely made it the trainwreck in the public that it was.

We go high is my favorite chance song, and I've been listening since 10 day
Whoever made this video, is definitely under 25
All these albums came out under 10 years ago.. hip-hop is 50 years old.. no way the 10 worst albums came out 2017 onward
I agree with you on the majority of this list but the revival album is only bad because you never actually listen for bars triple double entendres and just the rhyme pattern that you will never find in any of these rappers on this list or any other rapper with that being said I cannot take the rest of this list seriously
Revival wasnt a bad album, it was bad eminem album. There is a difference, there is songs on there that your favorite rapper cant even come close too.

Thank you for calling out the JID and jack Harlow bullshit. The forever story is one of the best rap albums I’ve heard in a long time
Tbh I’m kinda surprised Tom Macdonald isn’t on here
Thing is he’s just a rapper everyone does not like. All the targeting here goes to a single project or at least one album worse then the rest for him its everything he does which equates to the artist
He’s decent

This dude is full of it. Kamikaze was one of the best received albums. Just cause your slow and bars go over your head doesn't mean the albums bad it just means your not bright enough to understand the lyrics.
Eminem apologized for going too far 🤣
Calling kamikaze as the most embarassing album is such a dumb take ngl when there are songs like fall, the ringer and etc that got good rythim and flow with good lyrical on it.
Confessions of a dangerous mind was my introduction to logic and after listening to his other albums I still think it’s good.
For real mahn. That was a pretty solid album for me too
same here idk why it's so hated
Idk about blaming Jack for sampling older songs. That’s been going on in hip-hop since it’s inception and if anyone exploited it I’d blame G-Eazy.
Jacks new album was definitely a big improvement from come home the kids miss you though
It’s definitely more lyrical, that’s for sure 👌

I own that jack Harlow album on vinyl and I’m not ashamed
embarrasing
Honestly, DJ Khaled needs to take a step back and realize "Damn, Igor is still on everyone's playlists and my shit doesn't even get radio play anymore..."
I think you should have added “Donda 2” in here
All of Kanye’s albums in the last decade would easily fit in on this list tbh
#1 - every TomMacdonald album

@@yessirskis7780 no it’s because his music is trash 😂😂😂
Like creature, for the night
Snitching, the woo, all these songs were unfinished and his label came in to finish his vision,
@dominicbowie8998 I said mainly finished from what I see on Google, it was like 70%-90% done before he passed, my point is that's a big chunk, I feel like it was still his vision, it might not be fully his vision but, it's close as it gets
I do agree that Eminem’s Revival was ass, but his albums Kamikaze and MTBMB was great.
I listen to Revival ironically and quote stupid lines daily like "I just got that air about me like wind chimes". some songs on it I actually enjoy like Castle. In my opinion, Kamikaze was not that bad and recaptured that anger we got from his earlier albums.
Yeah he tripping kamikaze wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it was good either…it was okay

I told granny jack Harlow is the best she told me you clearly haven’t tried jack Daniels 😭😂
8:37 it means that he knows and is concerned that if he had showed his grandfather $100k that he would have a heart attack. So he decides to not show his grandfather that much money because of a potential heart attack. Pretty straightforward if you ask me.
dude clearly hates or can't detect nuance. that line is obv purposely simple and that album whether you like it or not was not hated by any means
I like jack though. His beat selection is pretty great. I agree the trend of using old songs was and is pretty ass since its stuff down our throats.
Ok. Hobestly, there was absolutely nothing wrong with Jack's album or the fact that he got a grammy nomination for it. The backlash came directly from the black community out of nothing more than racism and jealousy. They did the same thing to Maclemore and I don't fuck with Logic but that's likely what happened there too. The only white artist they've never been capable of derailing is Eminem and it wasn't for lack of trying.
