Excellent! Looking forward to see entire First Age events. Especially War of Wrath. Combined Army, Vanyar, remaining Noldor in Aman and Eönwe with blazing sword of Manwe.
yet again another amazing potrayal of Feanor's story, cottage. It would be good to also make a story of Kinslaying at Alqualondë, it will give a more context of how Feanor driven by his rage wanted to chase Morgoth and with Swan ships that Teleri had, This also led to Fingolfin, Galadriel, his brother Finrod Felagund and rest of Noldors went to Middle Earth via hellish route of the freezing cold of Helcaraxë, since the ships were burned by Feanor and his sons, so no other way to get to Middle Earth.
Thank you so much for another awesome video! The oath of Feanor was how I imagined when I read the book and later listened to the album Nightfall in Middle Earth by Blind Guardian. Thanks a lot!
Holy crap, this really brings the horror of Nan Dungortheb to life! My new favorite channel! This also will really help my kids get into the lore of the Silmarillion before they're old enough to read it. Right now they're still young and can't read yet so we've been watching the Jackson films mainly. These videos fit nicely!
It’s an honor for me that you and your children enjoy these videos and that I can be a part of their learning in this wonderful world of Tolkien that they’re sure to love. Thank you so much for sharing this with me-you’ve made my week!
That was a beautiful video. You did a wonderful job recreating this story from the Silmarillion. I love that you highlight snapshots from the book. You did a great job with the characters and backgrounds. The editing was great. Thank you very much for this video. New subscriber.
I love how the scream of Morgoth is depicted as less a scream of terror and desperation and more a roar of challenge and asserting dominance. Also depicting Ungoliant and her brood as eldritch demonic nightmares rather that giant spiders is oddly refreshing to see.
Oh my god! Thanks for making parts of the First Age come true. I would pay to watch anything from the Silmarillion. Hopefully someday, we'll get to see longer videos. Perhaps, the Children of Hurin next?
I don't know if it was "the AI" or a human who decided to include it, but the alliterative version of the oath of Fëanor was just so awesome to hear in a visual filmic context! YEAH! I so wish that this poem had been included in the published form of "The Silmarillion"!!! That's what I am talking about on my channel about helping to complete the sub-created world of Tolkien. However, it could be mentioned that JRRT might have been unpleasantly surprised at the role that "computers-machines-robots" are playing in the current blossoming of (not other hands and minds but) other bytes and bits!
Thank you so much!, it’s a human idea XD. People think that with AI you just press a button and get a video like this, but nothing could be further from the truth. The only AI elements in these videos are the images and movements (obviously, because I don’t have the resources to film actors with cameras, etc.). The rest-script, ideas, music selection and editing, editing the entire video to align the different parts, etc.-is human work. If it were as easy as people think, I’d be uploading a video every two days instead of every one or two weeks. AI has helped make many things possible, but it’s still far too underdeveloped to create something like this on its own. Thank you again for your visit!
@@TheCottageofLostPlay Well, thank you so much for replying to my reply! Yeah, I think you said before how much work goes into making a video, so I do want to appreciate that! On the other hand some people do use AI to write text, but I feel so happy to know that you write the script. You have a gift for summarizing the story in your own words. I am so disappointed in Amazon's RoP; your vids are helping quench my thirst!
My Daughter is reading the Silmarillion After seeing this video i am tempted to put on a gas mask and gloves and risk trying to find my Copy In her room tomorrow. Very well done, its stunningly awesome Feanor . is well portrayed as someone As Not to get the wrong side of...! Especially with some formidable Elves to back him up. Great stuff, keep it up.
I would rate you a top Notch Content creator with a high quality convincing visuals, you reall have put those technology on right position and made it purposeful, I'm a big of fan Tolkien's Work of Middle Earth, even Amazon failed to satisfy us the way you are doing 🙏🙏🙏
What happened to the segment where the lamps were raised and toppled and the capture of Melkor. The awakening of the Elves, the capture by some by Melkor and their subsequent yourney to the west?
I’m not making The Silmarillion in chronological order for several reasons, one being that each video takes a long time to make, and it would take months to reach parts that people are more interested in seeing. However, I am gradually filling in my chronological Silmarillion list, and there will likely be stories that I’ll redo to make them more faithful and less condensed as new technologies improve and my knowledge of them grows. I hope you understand and enjoy the journey with me! Thank you very much!
XD yes, I guess his ego gets the best of him, and he prioritizes things he shouldn't XD thank you so much for your unconditional support and for always being here!
This is what happens when a REAL fan, with respect to the source material, does it!
Why can't Amazon take notes?
Awaiting more of these, dear friend
thanks a lot for your support! working on ainulindale 2!
Well amazon couldn't recreate this even with all the dedicated people in the world as long as the Tolkien estate is around 🤷♂
purists like Chris Tolkien on one extreme & Amazon which doesn't care about lore on the other extreme.
Chris is dead, but is ilk are very alive abs well and Amazon isn’t willing to change for fear of backlash of a “protected class”.
@@khylerbane4523 My question: why has Simon T. betrayed his own father and grandfather?
Omgggg Fëanor’s oath scene was so cool
thanks so much! I tried to show something different to the rest of the video!
Maybe this guy should get the rights to a Sillmarillion TV series.& funding.
XD thanks so much!
