As a young kid growing up, I lived for McKenzie king cake, after they closed down I wander ed from shop to shop, then I found Paul's, they were in that little building, fore they got high on the hog, moved to a new place, on down the road, go figure, never looked for a king cake again, jűs sāyīn !😎✌😎!
I love Paul’s Pastry and I loved seeing this on Instagram! I’m on RUclips now because I want to send this video to my mother Barbara Collier who is a long time customer and Picayune area resident of 45 years. PS Ivy and Mike have some great chemistry!💖
Those are some good looking King Cakes! I have never had Paul's King Cakes before but at some point I will try them. I lived in Louisiana for six years and my mom was born and raised there, so Louisiana is in my blood. It is that time of year again. Happy Mardis Gras y'all!
Loved Ivy and Mike's chemistry. You both seem like two really sweet people just vibing with each other, it was so fun to watch! Loved the video, it's an easy subscribe for me :)
I like to make my own, but those look delish. Got my Mardi Gras wreath on the front door and decorations about the house. If you're in or near south Alabama, please check out MobileMask.com for parade schedules and routes, and lots of cool pics. They are also on RUclips at: TheMobileMask channel. Happy Mari Gras, y'all! Laissez le bon temps rouler!
OK You need to tell the people who are watching and not familiar with King Cakes, what the baby is for. (Jesus) What do the three colors of purple, green and gold stand for with regard to Mardi Gras and King Cakes? Purple for royalty (Jesus is King) , green means faith, and gold represents power.
Mrs sherris my aunt and she the head baker and my poppa owns Paul’s pastry and everything in the complex

Paul's is the absolute BEST place to buy king cakes!!
Paul’s is my favorite!! 😍 Totally one of those people that moved away and still order from Paul’s.
Oh, man, I miss my school days in Metairie where we had king cakes every week. I would get so excited to get the baby 👶🏻 my parents, not so much 🤣

Thanks! I knew it was the baby Jesus but I didn’t know what the colors stood for. That was a subtle omission of Who this season celebrates.
Hey Y’all!
65,000 to 75,000!? Oh. My. Goodness!
Those are some fun earrings! I needed to see that flip!
I live in colorado.
They look delicious! But i am very surprised that you bake the baby in there. Doesnt it melt? Most people add the baby after its baked.
Can you really make a King Cake in Picayune, Mississippi?
It's 30 minutes from New Orleans, and the first Mardi Gras in America was in Mobile, AL anyway...
I've never seen a kingcake that isn't braided.
They gots da baby, but ain't gots the dubloon n no the bean? Seem bit sketch ta me.
Before babies were used, beans were. To have both would be redundant 😊
