    This is the best King Cake recipe ever! I followed your instructions, but modified your technique slightly. Instead of dividing the dough into three rolls and braiding, I went with a single roll and then filled the single roll with the three layers of cinnamon filling, pecan-praline, and cream cheese. I was concerned that the three layers might make it to wet inside and the dough might not cook all the way through, but that was not the case. It cooked completely and it is better than any store-bought King Cake! Love this recipe and now I will have to make another one to share at work. You are la bombe!! Thanks for sharing!

    I’m making your kings cake for Mardi Gras . When you making yours? The day before or day of ? Taste better fresh or overnight?

      I ate mine the same day. I should have let it cool longer before icing

      It looks like the can went into the pressure cooker unopened, but when it came out to be poured into the bowl, it was already opened. So is it open before or after the pressure cooking?

      You can boil the cans for 3 hours … they also sell it cooked in the Spanish isle
